Hi Everyone:

We'll be at Disney for 11 nights in March camping at Fort Wilderness. I've made a few reservations for dinner but was wondering about a couple of restaurants Bahama Breeze and Pebbles? Anyone had any experience with either? Also, does anyone have any other ideas for dinner? Has anyone tried Wild Jacks Steak and BBQ. Kind of like to mix it up abit. What about Bennihana's at the Hilton.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Rebecca

On our last trip we really tried to make it to Emerils Restaurant which is suppose to be amazing!

We unfortunately did not make it but it does get rave reviews!

I think there are 2 of them with one being at Universal and the other at a hotel. I think the one at the hotel is nicer.

Haven't tried the places you have mentioned but we enjoy the buffet at Sweet Tomatoes on International Drive.

Hi Rebecca,
We tried wild jacks, we found the steak to have too much of a
"smoke" taste to it. So much so that you really couldn't taste the
meat.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we got to drink our cokes
out of a glass shaped like a cowboy boot.
Service was good. hope this helps.

Bahama Breeze is fantastic. We eat there every time we're in Orlando. We also really like Sweet Tomatoes and Pizzaria Uno.

Hi

so bahams breeze's menu looks good but what are the prices like? Could someone give me a range?

thanks

Pondarosa ( sp?) I swear by this place the 4 of us ate there my steak was great plus you get the buffet with your order cost us 30 for the 4 of us and we left stuffed!!!!LOLI liked the fact it was cheap and good I use to hate Pondarosa but the one I think on international Dr. was good

whistle Junction on I-drive, near the Beltz mass was awsome if you like buffett style meals. something for everyone, great desserts.

Bahama Breeze was excellent the two times we were there and the decor/atmosphere is nice as well.

I don't know if you like Tex Mex, but if you do I would also recommend Chevy's which is at the Crossroads (just past Downtown Disney). The food is very fresh tasting, and the kids can watch the tortilla machine!

In November 2004 we hit Emeril's for lunch at Universal, the food was great, but a bit pricey but thats why we went for lunch. The restaurant is very open so the atmoshpere is okay. The service was very professional and friendly.

If you have boys or boys at heart travelling with you the place to go to is Race Rock on International Drive. From the Monster truck at front, to actual cars, motorbikes, and gear everywhere, it is a pretty cool place. Even though the decor was not my area of interest, there was lots to look at and the food was great with huge servings. This was our "boys meal" to offset the CRT at the castle. If your kids aren't the type to be entertained by the decor or sit and colour, there are all kinds of racing games within the restaurant that they can play at and you can still see them. Not that we are huge racing fans, but even I recognized a few things like Shirley Muldowny's (sp?) racing suit and helmet etc etc.

My boys always love going to Kobe's Japanese Steakhouse. It's always part of our Orlando trip. The prices are very good ($12 and up) at dinner and include the soup, salad, noodles, veggies, rice, and meat (chicken, shrimp, etc). There favorite part is always watching the chef cook in front of them. It's even more reasonable if you go during the early bird hours.

We love Bahama Breeze :sunny: . The food and the atmosphere is great. The other restaurant we never miss is Olive Garden (the prices are similar to Bahama Breeze, and they are owned by the same company). Our trip to Orlando isn't complete without a trip to Cracker Barrel. :wizard:

We always make a stop at CiCi's pizza place....it's definately not high class but the food is really good and cheap! :thumbsup2
You pay $3.99 for an all you can eat buffet.....you get a salad bar, pasta with a choice of a cream sauce or tomato based sauce and any kind of pizza you want. They will even make you a special pizza if you don't like what's on the buffet. Also it includes a few choices of desserts (love the apple pie pizza) and your drink choice too. There isn't a wide variety in the buffet (except the pizza) but we like to go there for a change and it's really tasty. :)
Here's their site: http://www.cicispizza.com/cicis/
Also a fan of Sweet Tomatoes too! http://www.sweettomatoes.com/

Opps...just had to add our trip is never complete without a visit to the Cracker Barrel. :goodvibes

We tried Bahama Breeze when we were there inFeb and loved it. Also a must try is Dixie Crossings.
