We're doing the Disney thing in August and then we are back in Orlando for 2 nights prior to a cruise in September. I am so used to booking WDW I have no idea what would be a nice hotel for 2 couples with no kids?? Any thoughts? I am thinking of trying the new Galylord Palms...has anyone been there or know of any reviews??

Thanks!!!

very nice.

but the best reviews are from the Ritz-Carlton.

the new Marriott close to the Ritz-Carlton also gets some great reviews.

the Grand Cypress Hyatt is older much older (it was built the year after the Polyn) - but it is still a very nice hotel.

here are their websites

if these are too expensive then you might try the Renaissance - it sometimes has discounts on weekend and holidays - it is a business hotel.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with the Grande Lakes resort (JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton), the Renaissance Resort, Gaylord Palms, the Peabody (softest towels in Orlando!) or the Celebration resort.

This hotel is gorgeous !! It gets my vote ! We just stayed the weekend there June 25th. Great pool area/bar. If you get a pool view room, as we did, you can sit on your balcony and watch all the Disney fireworks !! We had a spectacular view !! Beautiful glass outdoor elevator that goes up 28 floors....pretty at night !!
