Which ones are the better ones to go to? Which should I steer clear from? It's just going to be us two adults, but there are so many to choose from.

This is a link to a thread I started a couple of months ago.

I was trying to decide between O'Hana and Luau.....after the advice I got, I decided to not waste my time w/ Luau.

I have read that the Hoop De Doo is really good....but I don't know if I'd go w/o kids...I think it is more geared towards them, but I could be wrong.

Hope the link works!

Thanks, I'll look into that. I was actually looking more of non-disney orlando shows. We most likely will not get to Disney this year

we did the pirate one last year-it was not impressive! even my 10 yr old son didn't really like it. I would do midievil times over it

We went to Arabian Nights a few years ago. DD14 was 8, and she really liked it. The food was ok - it wasn't great and it wasn't bad either.

Several times, we've done Medievel (sp?) Times in Dallas, and we liked everything about it. I would think since they are a chain that one is pretty much the same as another.

A few years ago, my parents took DD14 and my sister who is 16 to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, but it was the one in Pigeon Forge near Dollywood. I've heard lots of good things about this one.

I've really been thinking about the arabian nights or dolly's stampede. I found a thread that mentioned universal's luau and one at seaworld. Has anyone ever done those?

I've not been to it, but their is a dinner show at one of the hotels near DTD. It is a mystery type show. The dinner guests participate in some type of crime solving thing. You might ask on the dining board. They would probably have more info.

That sounds like way too much fun! I'd love to go to something like that, and I had not heard about that one either. :)

There are MidEvil Times coupons still up for grabs on the Restaurant Coupon thread.

I think it is called Sleuth Mystery Dinner Show and it may be at Grovesners (spelling?).

My mother and I went to Arabian nights a few years ago. The show was nice (the Xmas show), the food was not so good, and the people runing the place were very rude and horrible. We did not like the way we were treated there and we will never go back. Basically they have a deal on coupons in the area where you can get X dollars off each ticket or get a free upgrade on your tickets. Well we didn't like the upgrade offer so we took the X dollars off deal. Well the workers treated us like we were stingy people/being cheap and would make snide comments and such to the people in our waiting area (they split you between those that upgrade and those that don't).

I have done Dolly's Dixie Stampede near Dollywood and that was fabulous (but it was probably 15 years ago). I would recommend them.

I have also heard good things about midieval times but have never gone myself.

I talked with DH and he made the decision....He wants to go to Medieval Times. Apparently, he has always wanted to go (I've been to it before), so we're going there. I have coupons from the Entertainment Book. If we do another we're going to go to the Dixie Stampede. Thanks for your suggestions.
