Orlando area Wal-Mart

A friend of ours (who last visited WDW 1 1/2 yrs. ago) told us that the Orlando area Wal-Mart has lots of Disney/Disney World items that are at least 50% cheaper than in the parks. Is this a good place to shop for souvenirs? If so, what is the nearest Wal-Mart to the parks?

There is a huge selection of merchandise, but it's not the same as what's in the parks though. There are cheaper versions of stuff you'll see in parks, such as: shirts, towels and postcards. We didn't find the prices to be that much cheaper as the shirts and towels were of a cheaper quality in our opinion.

It may be worth checking out if you are interested to see for yourself. Super Walmart is only a few minutes from Super Target, which is about 10-15 mins. down the road from Downtown Disney.

Not sure which Walmart you guys go to, but we go to the Super Walmart.t

If you are going there from Disney resorts we take Rt. 536, and at the intersection of 536, and 535 we take a (right) onto 535. Its just up the road on the right. ( I belive if you were to continue on 535 it would turn into 192?) can anyone confirm

Thank you..I just added him today...he's our waterdog we laughed pretty hard when he got himself up there. Now that is how he spends his days..tough life huh?

I know of 2 Wal-Marts near Disney...

The one on 535 has the best Selection of Souveners...the only problem is if you buy Tee-Shirts or Towels...they have "Florida" on them rather than the WDW logos. They are Items with Disney Characters...but they are NOT WDW items.

They have a good selection of nick-nacks that work great as gifts...AND if your driving the Murphy USA has the best Fuel prices in Orlando. Gas was a MAJOR expense for us when we went back in early June.

This Wal-Mart is on 535 about 2¾ miles South of I-4 Exit 68.

The other Wal-Mart (which is a bit out of the way and not as good) Is on Hwy27...Take 192 West until it intersects with 27. Turn Right (North) and Wal-Mart will be on your Right in about a ¼mile.
