What's the best way to get from the Amtrak station to WDW, and then back again? I'm trying to see the cost difference between a cab, one of the local town car services, or renting a low budget car. I'm leaning towards renting a car; I don't see me using it much at WDW, but it would be nice to know it's there.

Thanks,
Jim

We always detrain in Kissimmee and take a cab to the MK resorts, fare runs us 35-38.00 plus tip one way. ride is about 20 minutes depending on traffic and there are always cabs waiting when the train pulls in. We do not rent a car, we never have a use for it and Disney transportation has been working fine for us in over 38 visits. We don't feel the expense of a rental is worth it to add to the vacation.

Thanks. I never even thought of the train going further; I just punched in Boston to Orlando at the web site.

Want a surprise. Take a cab with a meter running. It will run about $32.00 to Disney and once on I-4 you are 20 minutes away. Car services will do it also.
