I've received some really great suggestions on the best way to get down to Port Canaveral (i.e. Hertz rental car), a good place to stay the night before the cruise (i.e. Radisson), but I need a nice play to stay at the airport once my cruise is over. I'm picking up a Hertz rental car in Port Canaveral and driving back to the airport. I was going to stay in Port Canaveral over the Saturday night and then drive to the airport on Sunday morning for my flight; however it's a major hassle getting up early to drive to the airport, return the car, wait on long security lines, etc. etc. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

My DH and I stayed at the Hilton right in the airport the night before our cruise. It was very, very nice. Our flight arrived over an hour late and it was nice not having to find transportation to our hotel. All we had to do was get our luggage and walk past the restaurants and shops to the hotel. The next morning we were able to check in for the cruise in one of their conference rooms. I would definitely stay there again! Hope this helps.

The Hilton at the airport is a great choice for an overnight stay before returning home.

Crowne Plaza, Country Inn & Suites, and as said, the Hyatt within the airport.. depending on how much you choose to spend.
Stay away from the Holiday Inn Select. :smokin:
