Original Pirate Hat

As i was walking through the Matterhorn in walks in SoarinSoarin. I do not know if all of you know him but he is a very nice guy. So he was wearing the pirate hat that you wear in your Pirate Magic Pin except of course he was not performing the Magic. So i ask him "hey fly boy(my nickname for him) how do we get that cool hat?" and he replies " cannot say, im srry" Its not that the words cant be used its that he can not say because it is VMK business. This must be a Costume along with the girls pirate costume for Pirate Month Coming in July with the realese of the new movie. Anyone else want to give their opinions on this?

Baby has been around since beta. The hat was originally some type of bug that has been fixed and he was allowed to keep the hat.

And yes, there is a pirate hat coming out sometime.

I believe that baby was given the Pirates Hat by Yavn back during Alpha or maybe beta...Orginally he could not take the hat off or he would lose it that bug has been fixed and he can now take it off.

I do not know about soarinsoarin as to where his hat came from or if he is borrowing it from Baby.

Speculation is yes that this hat will be part of the New Pirates Quest at the PArks when the Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest come out on July 7th.

I believe their hats are different. The one Soarin wears does not have a parrot on top, where as baby's hat does.

Yes, CpnBones. Baby was "born" with his hat, which has the parrot. SoarinSoarin was given a different, but similar hat as well as Nedikah. I think that's how their names are spelled! LOL

Baby was made with the hat back before VMK opened to Public BETA. He was made with the hat and then could not take it off and if he did it would be gone. then yavn fixed it and made it so he could take it off and switch clothes. SoarinSoarin does have the hat but they are different as said earlier. one has a Parrot and the other doesn't.
-Baby was not the only person back then that was made with something. there was another player that was created with the space bubble helmet. it was just never recognized because that came out at the Celebration/Space event. which was not to long after VMK officially opened.
--There are some other people with the Pirate Hat in VMK but i usually see SoSo or Baby around the most.

Yea SoarinSoarin is one of my friends.
I helped him long ago with a ride he was working on, hes cool


and the hat, like everyone else has said, will probably come out with that new pirate outfit (like for girls seen in the Gren Autopia Car Pin) when the new pirate movie comes out or when it comes out on DVD so they can do the Herbie-Style distributing in the DVD.

SoarinSoarin is on my friends list also, I think you could get the hat back in the Beta days when only certain people can play.
