Hawaii was an option for a trip to take my mom on. It quickly became a no for us. I don't really think it's for her, then she picks Alaska. She hates being cold. Yeah so back to the search for her.
Hi there! I'm excited for your family to experience such awesome memories together! No small feat to organize and pay for a trip like that for a big family! The kids are so blessed to be in your family! We are from Klamath Falls, living in Texas, where our DS and DDIL are teachers and have 3 foster to adopt kiddos along with two bio kids. It can be pretty crazy at times! I am looking forward to see how it all plays out for you. I haven't read through yet - are you surprising them?
Looks like I've found the Oregon crowd!!YAY!
I will read along best I can, and will be here when I get breaks from school. I'm a 40+ mom who went back to school this Fall at Chemeketa and am getting my RN.HI! Planning an Oct, 2016 trip for my Graduation Celebration, so have to get my Disney fixes reading others' reports.
Yup, August is hoooooot! But, doable. You may need extra breaks for swim time to beat the heat and just stay out later at the EMHs.
Your dining plans look great! Looking forward to hearing all about your plans!
Ha Ha! Hi Liesa! I just saw you were here too. I guess she had us at Oregon! LOL I wonder how long until Jen finds her way over
I am headed to your PTR to join in the fun. I work at a hospital, so it is always fun to read about what goes on at Nursing school.
Honestly? My mom probably won't want to leave the ship. We were showing her the one that we're taking and she said "How long do you have to stay on Castaway Cay?" Lol

HI TAMMIE!! That was funny we posted at the same time!!

Shouldn't be too long! Wish you still lived up here, Tammie! I am hoping to get an PNW Meet put together this summer. Maybe if you come up to KFals then, you could let me know, and we'll plan it around your visit!!
Laurie somehow I missed that you had started this! What a dining line up! When I went to WDW I was still pretty new to the Dis so I didn't know that much and we only did one day in each park and stayed off site, I hope we can get back some day on a big trip like your and visit some more restaurants now that know about them and how good they are!
Oops! We don't mean to hi - jack your thread with our own "meet"It's like the old "I'm from Jersey, You from Jersey ?" Jokes on SNL This should be a fun PTR!
Will have to post in the morning. My computer is running out of battery, and I'm too lazy to go get the charger.

LOL, no problem......besides, I'm always up to meeting fellow Dis members & so if there is an Oregon meet-up near by......chances are, I'd be interested!!! Glad you were both able to reconnect!!
WooHoo!! Just got done booking the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party!!! They have revamped it and reopened reservations today. It's $49/adult & $29/child which is a lot, but with the girls sensory issues (they love fireworks & the big booms), but staking out a spot & then being totally crammed with the crowds wouldn't work well for them or me. We decided that it would be worth the expense to be able to enjoy the fireworks with a much smaller crowd and the desserts will be a bonus.
Found these on Google Images!

Mid-June would be a perfect time to have a little get-together. I live in Salem right on the river and have a huge deck which would be the perfect backdrop for a little wine and chit-chat. I hope that isn't to far for you!
It does look like a lovely party, but I don't think I'd pay $250 for the 5 of us to do it- that's a LOT of dough for an hour. But I am super happy that it makes a way for your kiddos to have a less-stress experience that they will remember for a very long time! It'll be a great way to get some killer photos too!
