Hey all! Does anyone know of a special treat I might order through the Poly to be delivered to my sister's room there? Her family is going to be there so for a much-needed vacation, and I'd like to surprise them with a special delivery. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA! :flower:

I ordered some stuff from WDW Florist to be delivered to a friend at CBR. He loved it. It wasn't cheap but the woman I talked to at WDW Forist (Jean) was incredibly helpful and made some great suggestions. Check out their website and then give them a call. I had something made up that wasn't on the website.

We've used WDW Florist also, and were very happy with the results. Once I tailored the surprise for my DD's birthday, and 2 other times I ordered baskets from their website:

If you want something food related, just call the resort and ask to speak with private dining. Here are just a few things that they can arrange (from Deb's Allears site):

HO 'OLAULE 'A
(Celebrations)

Birthday Package - 7" birthday cake with Mickey, Character Birthday Card, Party hat/horns and three baloons. Must be ordered by 6pm for same day delivery $25.00

Romance Turndown - wrapped white chocolate Mickey and Minnie bride and goom and assorted truffles. Must be ordered by 11:00am for same day service $30.00

Romance Package - Romance turndown and a bottle of house champagne with flutes. Must be ordered by 11:00am for same day service $70.00

Strawberry Turndown - six delicious chocolate covered or tuxedo (dark and white chocolate) covered strawberries with a chocolate centerpiece filled with candies. Must be ordered by 11:00am for same day delivery $25.00

We can help you host and celebrate all of your special occassions. Please allow 24-48 hours notice.

Tammi,

Can you tell me where you found that on Deb's site? I can't find it. Wondering if the CR has anything similar? My best friend, her DH, and identical twin girls are at the CR this week. I'd love to send them a special snack!

If you click on her dining tab (on the top of the page) and then select resorts from the left hand navigation. They are all listed alphabetically. The room service menu from the CR is a year old though. I'm sure they have the items available, you might just need to call them directly.

Check out this thread. Warning: you'll gain weight just reading it! Congrats on your marriage, and I hope your DF is doing better. We will be at the GF from 11/29 - Dec 7. Maybe we'll see you there! My DD5 is so into weddings and brides!

This link will take you directly to the dining area, http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm . From here, you can select a specific park, resort or any other Disney area. For the GF, you want to select "resort hotels" and then the GF is listed alphabetically. You'll see the menus for each restaurant, but for the special treats, click on the "private dining" option. Not everything is listed either. If you call the GF directly, ask for the private dining department and then can give you the run down on everything they have available. Other GF veterans have reported getting chocolate champagne flutes, chocolate cigars, a chocolate box full of truffles as just a few examples.

Thank you so much to you both, i appreciate your help
Ive tried under the Private Dining options but can only find Room Delivery menu, no special treats,
I think i will phone Private Dining directly as you suggested Tammi, thank you.

I hope we do see you there Triplefigs and you can come join us for a slice of wedding cake becuase our wedding is very intimate - just the two of us, be nice to see you.

What day is your wedding? We'd LOVE to stop by and wish you luck. Let me know!

Hi Triplefigs, its 5th December, we've got Mickey and Minnie coming too. Maybe your daughter would like to have her pics taken with them and maybe even the bride??

That is so generous of you! What time is your wedding? You can PM me the details if you'd rather not post them here for everyone. I sure hope we can arrange it. My kids (all 3) would love to see a Disney wedding and meet Mickey and Minnie. Thanks so much for the offer!

Its 12 noon and i would be delighted to see u all, We've got Mickey and Minnie for an hour, dressed in all their wedding finery so that should be nice. Have you only got one daughter? Maybe she would like to act as my flowergirl/attendant?

Its just a short ceremony, champagne, wedding cake etc but it would be lovely to have some guests, you (and anyone else) are more than welcome.

Hi Mousette

Completely off topic I know but I just wanted to wish you loads of luck for your wedding from a fellow Brit, sounds like it will be a fabulous and v.romantic day.

Nicola :lovestruc
