Has anyone ordered things over the net from www.disneystore.com? Are items normally delivered quite quickly or is it best to start ordering for Christmas pressies sooner rather than later? Has anyone been charged VAT once the items have been delivered?

All information greatfully received!

Thanx :flower:

I ordered online a couple of times last Christmas. Both times they only took a few days to deliver. Also, both times I got a free gift as well!

I've ordered from them a few times too. Items arrived very quickly and I was very happy.

Sorry only ever ordered from Disneystore.co.uk They are very good with delivery and you also get a free gift from them too :teeth:

I have a few times - it's down to luck whether customs pick it up or not! So far I've been lucky ;)

The one time I looked at Disneystore .com the shipping was as much as the items!! Has that changed?

It's still pricey Aruna, but sometimes with the items costing less in dollars than they do in pounds (and the exchange rate situation of late) it's been worth coughing up the shipping costs!

I had to stop ordering from DisneyDirect (or DisneyStore as it is now known) as I received a DHL customs bill after every single order. The last one was for more than £50! It's a shame because IMO the UK Disneystore website (and stores themselves) have such a limited selection of items. If you are going to order, check www.mousesavers.com for special offer codes. I believe there is a 10% off code at the moment.

Thanks for all your help, now I've just gotta decide whether I want to risk a customs bill! :confused3 I wish the UK Disney site had half the selection disney.com does.

I totally agree.....

If the contents of your order (plus the shipping fee) is below about $70, then you should be okay. It tends to only be when the value is over this that customs start charging.
