Ordering From Disney Outlet?

Has anyone ordered from the disney clearance outlet and had it shipped to your resort? I understand that to ship to Canada costs a small fortune so I was hoping I could do this.

My girlfriend and I did this in May. The delivery time states 7 -14 days (or something like that) so we figured we would plan for the items to arrive half way thru our trip but was there 2nd day! No problems at all and we had free shipping as well!!

Same here! Ordered two weeks before our trip in July to get the free shipping and everything was waiting for me when I got there - just have it shipped to your resort address in care of your name and make note of your reservation number. Just ask at the front desk for your package when you check in, and if it hasn't arrived yet, they will leave a message on your room phone when it does. Happy shopping!!! This was a great way to get some cheap souvies to bring back home for family and friends!!

This is great. I was going to be bringing an extra suitcase down for water and snackies. This leaves me room to bring plenty home (Christmas presents ). We're there for two weeks so if I order 7 days before we go it should arrive in good time. Does there estimated shipping time include weekends?

what is normal shipping times?: I had delivery to Canada and it was fast, less then 5 days including weekend. I would like to deliver items when i go down next time but wondered about the items arriving too early?

we ordered from them on a Sunday afternoon, with it being that the Monday being a Canadian holiday, which means nothing to them, and it arrived at our door on Tuesday. Very fast shipping. I have ordered things from Toronto that took way longer.......

I was wondering how expensive it is to order from outlet to Canada, besides the cost,tax and exchange, do we get charged alot for duty as well, Just wondering who has done it and if its worth it,saw a few things I'd like for my daughter, but have never ordered anything from states before.

i purchased around $140 worth of items i think shipping was around $30 and i did not get any extra fees or duties charged when they delivered them!

I ordered to Canada a few years ago, it was a lamp for $25 and I did not get charged duty or taxes when delivered, but a couple of weeks later I got a bill in the mail for $22 duty, so be careful as I haven't ordered to Canada since. I did order for delivery to WDW on our last trip and no duty worries with that!

We had stuff sent to CBR and it worked really well. It was actually waiting a while, maybe two weeks, b/c we wanted to take advantage of a sale that was ending. I have also had stuff shipped to NS and it was really expensive, relative to, say, LL Bean or JC Penney. However, it was a bunch of stuff I got on clearance and the savings were worth it. And it was the fastest I've received anything from the US over years of mail order...

Hmm. Hadn't thought of that for Christmas presents. Anyone know if you can ship to yourself on DCL?

Pretty sure you can. I remember a post about it on the the cruise boards with an address for where to send packages.

If you are close to the boarder, there are companies that will accept your packages for a small fee. I have this set up in Port Huron Michigan. I address my packages to the business, When it gets there, they call me. I drive the hour there (and of course shop more) I pick up the package and they charge me $5. It is a great deal
