Hi all,

I had a question about the Pre-order for the Be Our Guest breakfast. We have a reservation for 8 people, but only two of us will be using the dining plan. When we went to pre-order it said that if you pre-order online the check can not be split. Does this mean if we do pre-order we won't be able to use our dining plan credits and they pay for their own? Any one have any experience with this. We have a PPO reservation at 8:10, if we have to order once we are there is the line terribly long? We will have three toddlers so the less wait for food the better. Lol.

We had a group of 6 with 2 different forms of payment in October and I noticed this when I went to pre-order. We still wanted to pre-order because the line can be long, so I looked until I was able to find a reservation for 1 which I secured using one of the other party members. I then ordered the meals for one payment type on the main reservation and the meals for the other payment type on the other. It didn't matter that it was only for 1 person, I will still able to order as many meals as I wanted and it allowed us to pre-order.

Disney may have developed a better work-around, but if not and you still want to pre-order, reservations for 1 are usually easy to find if you keep checking. Good luck!

That is actually a great idea. Our reservation is for 1 at 8:10 and 7 at 8:15 so this would work out perfectly! The reservation for 1 is under my husband's name so I'll just order ours under his reservation and everyone else can order theirs. Thank you so much for the fast reply!

That's great that your reservation is already split--glad it will work for you!

We are facing this same issue, reservation for 9 but six of us are staying in one room and three in another. (all on the dining plan).

I currently have a reservation for 9 under my name, and I was just able to secure a reservation for 1 under my husbands account. (Thanks to this thread for the tip!)

Am I correct that I can order 3 meals on the reservation for 1 person? If it's made in my husbands name, does he have to use his credits when we go to pay or can the 3 people who are staying in the other room use their credits even though the reservation isn't technically in their name?

Sorry if this is confusing, we too have toddlers and want to make the pre order process as smooth as possible!

Doesn't matter who pays. It seems like the checkout changes a bit each time we go, but when we were there in October, the defaults was charging the room of the magic band you scanned at the check-out kiosk. One member of their party will have to go to the check-out kiosk with your husband and I would ask a CM to help them pull up the order using your husband's band, but pulling the credits from their room.

Seems counter-intuitive, but you could also order the 6 meals for your family under the reservation for 1 and the 3 for the other family under your reservation. If they are listed on the ADR, their MBs may be able to pull up the pre-order and allow them to pay without a CMs help.

Good luck!

Ah, gotcha... that makes sense - thank you so much!! I'm very glad I discovered this hiccup now and not when we showed up for our reservation. Much appreciated.

We have a similar issue. If somebody's magic band is scanned, do those credits come from THAT person, or from each person in the room? 6 people are in one room with dining and 2 are in another without dining. Should I do a reservation with 6 and one with 2? If I do that and preorder for the 6 do the credits come from the ROOM or from ONE person? We were planning on using this for one of our quick services.

All of the credits for each room are pooled together. They don't break it down by person.
