There are a few places I'd like to try for their notable dinner entrees, but I've run out of nights! We've already chosen a TS for each night we will be at WDW, and are on the DXDP, so can have TS lunch as well. Do any of the restaurants make an exception and allow you try a dinner entree at lunchtime, even if its a smaller portion? For example, we'd like to do Tony's at lunch, but have steak, Cap'n Jacks at lunch & have lobster tails, etc.

You can always ask. This question comes up every so often. My memory is the answer was most restaurants won't have the ingredients available at lunch time. I'm pretty sure the lobster tails are frozen and may not be available at normal lunch time. Following poster is correct, you may have a better chance if you have a very late lunch ADR but it sounds like that won't help you.

It may also depend on what time your lunch reservation is for. If it is a late lunch reservation, it seems like your chances would be better.

You can ask, but generally, they have no problem accomodating a request for a lunch item at dinner. But it is probably more difficult to get a dinner item at lunch..:I wouldn't get your hopes up...goodvibes

I don't know about all restaurants, but I know you can't get the filet with mushroom risotto at Le Cellier for lunch. We tried!:rolleyes1
