Ordered Groceries through DVC, Now What?

How do I know if they received my faxed order?
Will there be a confirmation?

Never ordered thru DVC.

I have always ordered thru gardengrocer.com and have been very satisfied with them.
They are certainly cheaper than Disney and do regular grocery shopping for you, all brands available (like regular shopping) deliver directly to your hotel or room. Ice cream and frozen items too. You can add items in the comments and get them..like Case of H2O, diapers.. will pick up wine, cigarettes and specialty items...etc.

I'm curious for our upcoming trip, we're only going to be there 5 days so I don't want to waste a lot of time waiting around. The DVC ordering looked good because it appears they deliver your items to your room after checkin.

Ordering through DVC there is no minimum and only a $5 fee. I compared the items I wanted to buy on DVC and GardenGrocer and found DVC to be cheaper. Granted, I'm only spending $20 on a few things, not a full grocery order.

Just jumping in, we use them and they have a date of you arrival and the order is just stored at the resort in a refrig/frzr until you check in. At least it has been for us.

I have used the DVC order and never received confirmation the stuff has always just appeared in the room. And I always wondered how fast they must move if the rooms are not assigned ahead of time because the stuff always beats me to the room.

Also wondered what would happen, if they did have the room assigned ahead and that is why the stuff in there , I wanted to switch rooms during the checkin.

I always take a copy of what I ordered I figured if they didn't get it it would be a small thing to turn my copy in for them to fill after I get there.

The form will ask you when your expected arrival time is. I have thier phone number in my cell. When I get my room #, I call them and they have traditionally delivered to my room within 30 min. Also...Disney has refrigerators and freezers at the bell hop locations and sometimes the groceries are already there and I have them delivered to the room...quite easy.
