Orbitz way cheaper than Disney right now

How do you link your reservations in ME? My sister in law booked through Orbitz and I need to give her clear directions. She is going on May 19th, will she have time to customize her wristbands?

If she booked through Orbitz, she would have received a hotel confirmation number - It's normally 6 digits starting with a letter. Go to MDE and log in. Once logged in click on My Reservations and Tickets. Click on Link Resort Reservation and then she can enter her hotel confirmation number she received from Orbitz. If she has Park tickets, she can link them in there too under the Link Tickets tab. Then she can go to the Magicbands tab and do her Magicbands. Not sure if they will still ship them being that May 19th is less than 30 days away. But they should be able to have them at the front desk for her when she checks in. I hope this helps!

Actually, the Orbitz confirmation numbers are not the same as the numbers that you need to enter on MDE. I've had to contact Orbitz for my "Magic Numbers" for both tickets and room reservations so that I could link them in MDE.

I was just able to use the short number Orbitz gives a couple weeks ago. I did go into the Magicbands part after and saw the longer Disney number which I wrote down but I was able to link the reservation with the shorter number.

Mine was! Got the email instantly with the Hotel confirmation #. It linked instantly. So not sure why you had to contact them? Unless you were using the Orbitz booking number and not the hotel confirmation number that appears further down in the email.

Like I said, the Orbitz confirmation numbers (both for tickets and for hotel room) did not work in MDE. I needed my "Magic Numbers" to be able to link them there.

And no, I was not trying to use the booking numbers for either.

click on "Trip Details" in the confirmation email
then click on "show detailed hotel reservation information" in the new window

there should be a 6 digit number letter combination under the hotel name listed as the hotel confirmation number. That will link you up on MDE.

sometimes the number is in the email, but one reservation I had did not list it until I went into trip details.
