Orbitz tickets and FP+

Has anyone used the Orbitz WDW ticket vouchers and FP+?

I called Disney to ask if I can link the Orbitz ticket vouchers to My Disney Experience prior to arrival so I could select my FP+ and they said I could but I am just nervous that the vouchers will not be recognized and I won't be able to use the FP+.

That is why I finally bought my tickets from Undercover Tourist instead of Orbitz. I was afraid that I'd have to wait until I got to WDW and exchanged my vouchers for actual tickets before I could add them into MDE. I just can't reasonably see how an Orbitz voucher number could be recognized by Disney's ticketing system.

In the end, I figured that the Orbitz tickets (with the Ebates 10% back) were only going to save me like $40 over UT and knowing I would get actual, live tickets from UT that I could load into MDE, made the extra cost worth it to me because we're going at New Year's, which will be very busy and I wanted to get the FP+. I got my tickets from UT, was able to scan the QR code with my phone, load them into MDE and get my FP+ right away. It was totally worth it.

Hi, just curious how this went? Did you ever link it? I'm in the exact same boat.
