I see that the 15% Orbitz discount is for stays until 9/30/15. Do they typically keep this discount going? Can we anticipate another discount after the current one expires?

Yes, if they follow past pattern, there will be another one (though having a new owner may change things). Every once in awhile, there is a 20% discount.

If you have not done so, sign up for their email notifications of sales and promotions.

I'll sign up today. Thanks!

The 20% off are getting oh so rare these days. And I have seen them have that much, but they would'nt apply to Disney hotels. 15% has always worked though. This is the cheapest way for me to book room only reservations now. Stack Disney and Orbitz discounts to get the most off.

I've never used Orbitz, is there a thread with the +/- of doing this and procedure for booking and when to start watching for discounts for specific dates?

Quick question, which I know has been answered before, I am sorry.
I currently have a room only reservation with the 35% pincode booked. If I cancel my reservation and book I new one with orbitz to save another $200 will I lose all my FP+ reservations. We are moving from YC to BC which wasn't available when I originally booked.
Thanks.

Thank you. Booked new reservation with Orbitz, saved another $300.00 over the %35 off pin code! Added new reservation to MDE and everything else remains the same.

Book with Orbitz, get your Disney confirmation number (which is normally available within minutes of booking online - just click on the drop down "My trips"), link that reservation number to your MDE reservations, then cancel your original reservation. You will retain your FP+ reservations, without risk of losing them.

Oops - you posted your experience, while I was writing. Glad it worked!

If I get the Orbitz deal for room-only can I later call and add a ticketless package for the dining plan?

Have been playing around on the site, can't figure this out. Ok, so the Promo Code is TAKEABREAK but if I go to the Orbitz Disney world section and select the spring offer, I don't see when/where I have the opportunity to enter the Promo code ...

To be fair I am not really looking to book this thing, but seeing that we are aiming at November, I want to know the process so that when I go to do it for that Trip, I know what to do.

Will the room only discounts show up on orbits right away tomorrow when they are released?

Scroll down the left-hand side of the home page of the hotel booking engine, and there is a place to click to add the promo code.

Do you have to enter the Disney discount somewhere?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but tomorrow the prices on orbitz will be the new, discounted Disney prices. Then by typing in the Orbitz promo code (TAKEABREAK or whatever it is!) you will get the additional 15% off. Im hoping this is the process, because I'm banking on it!

Oh and when you find your Disney property on Orbitz tomorrow, it will have to say "PROMO CODE ELIGIBLE" in order to get the additional 15% TAKEABREAK code discount. Good Luck! Pixie dust all around!
