Shortcut thread. I used these in NOv/Dec and worked 0ut great.

I'm not so sure about that short cut, but they are building a connector right from 192

the Us192 (road in front of OL) to Black Lake to Sherabert road still works.

You are talking about the new TOLL road.

it will stop on the other side of WDW - so I think it might be shorter if you want to go to the MK. otherwise I would stick with the shortcut.

When will the lazy river and water park be finished?

I just called Orange Lake and was told end of May/June???

Does anyone kow if it will be heated??????

Oh ... and I sure hope the water park is open ... part of the deal to come back and do the timeshare presentation was that we would get a family pass to go to the water park (plus golf and cart passes for dh and d-dad; universal passes; towels -this was the clincher ; etc) ... so it better be open by March!!

Are you talking about River Island at OLCC?
I was under the impression that the new Orange Lake water park (River Island) was no charge (except for the tubes for the lazy river) for any Orange Lake guest.
Can anyone clarify?

A couple weeks ago I called OLCC to enquire whether or not the river island area would be heated during the winter months and was told "probably". I sure hope so!!! At this time they went on to tell me that river island was no charge for guests except for the tubes. I didn't think to ask about this fee.
I just really hope it will be open late this year and will be HEATED!!!

Perhaps someone else knows something about tube rental fees???
