I have just boked this for our holiday in October. Has anyone done it already?

We did the Ballon ride in 1999 (adults 2 children) it was excellent we all really enjoyed it, it was very hands on (you help put the balloon up and pack it away) When we went 2 ballons went up together so we got so wicked pics of the other ballon. The high light for us all was "tree hopping" my husband actually picked a pine cone from a tree as we went over, the pilot was very knowledgable about every thing we saw and very entertaining. The only down side was the very early start 5am
and the fact that we had one false start because the weather wasnt suitable (but we did go in Feb) We were back at the hotel by 12ish and wouldnt have missed it for the world, it was definately one of the high lights of the holiday.

Thanks very much for the info.

Does it feel as if you are 2000 ft. up in the air?

No it didnt really. It was a really great experience and hard to explain, the whole thing in made very special by being able to help out, the landing was so smooth we couldnt believe it, hardly a bump at all. We would reccomend it to any one its a once in a life time thing. (though the kids would love to go up again) The whole event was well organised and the people were very friendly and well informed about every thing we saw.
