I am not old enough to remember the Orange bird. To me (and I will probably get flamed for it but I feel it's an important note to make) it's just a way to sell cheap merchandise people will buy for nostalgia.

At least you can see where I'm coming from. We like to complain about how Disney is trying to increase it's bottom line by selling cheap merchandise. To me that's what this is
My parents tried one of the orange bird things this past weekend and they said it was disgusting. They threw it away. I'll stick to my pineapple Dole Whip.
I will still buy some for my kids when we go (if it's still available) in October. I have the BEST memory of my grandfather buying one for me after riding POTC and I came off the ride scared to death. Being a redhead, the pirates screaming for redhead terrified me and he bought it to calm me down after we came off the ride. Silly, I know but when I saw it again, it immediately took me back to day and being with my grandfather.
