I am going to WDW on 7/29 to 8/3 with DD13. We have always used the Deluxe DP...BUT...this year we are doing the Basic DP. We want a little more flexibility and I still have peace of mind that at least SOME meals are already paid for.

We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge

That said...I am looking for a counter service breakfast for EPCOT as well as HS. I am already paying OOP for two breakfast buffets (crystal palace because it's our tradition and Boma because it's relatively inexpensive and at our hotel)...so I'm hoping for even less expensive options. We are not huge sweets eaters so I don't think that pastries will be an option.

Input is greatly appreciated! Thank You!!

We had a breakfast platter at Sunshine Seasons: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, a biscuit and a couple pieces of french toast. There was also fruit and some other options. The platter was not fancy, but was filling. My Mom and I split it.

Thank you MainMom...I was thinking that Sunshine Seasons would be a great option and then The Mara. :)

My pick would be Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles. Their savory pastries and sandwiches are fantastic.

I agree with both of the above, except I get the child's plate for me, I'm not a big eater and it is just enough. Also, almost all of the resorts have some sort of breakfast platter in the QS so you could go to any of the Epcot resorts before you went into Epcot if you wanted.

Thank you Alesia...I really want to try them but think it may be a hassle to get there as World Showcase doesn't open until 11 so we would need to go to the beach club resort then walk into WS from there. Not sure if it is worth it just for a croissant sandwich. :confused3

You don't have to enter through the international gateway. You can walk to the France pavilion from future world before 11:00.

There is not many options for HS for breakfast that is not pastry related. Fairfax Fare has some breakfast sandwiches and Starbucks (The Trolley Car Cafe) has the best options with some healthy breakfast wraps offered.

Thank you all! I never knew that about entering through future world...we just might give it a try!
