Oprah's 12wk Boot camp??

I looks like you are only eating 1000 calories a day....you can't keep that up for long, plus it is not enough for a body that is doing 8 workouts a week! I would add MORE veggies and some dairy (low fat yogurt, cottage cheese). After a month, you can add some whole grains a few times a week, so that helps. Have a sugarfree fudgsicle for dessert - Oprah does! :-)

Love the sugarfree fudgsicles... They are getting me through.

and much luck being wished to you. :wizard:

I see all the discussion about what were eating and how much. Personally I tried a few different programs and settled for 1200 calories a day and no more than 40 carbs. With most green salad and vegetables as free food. This lets in quite a bit of variety. Still no pasta, rice, potatoes or sugar.

So far so good. Its slow but its coming along.

Thinking of you guys and wishing you well this week! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Cool, I told DH I need more green veggies and I'm adding a protein shake to have after my workout :cool1:

Monday weigh-in results:
Drumroll please.........

I'm down 2 1/2 pounds after only one week on boot camp :teeth: :cool1:

And geez was it a test. I mean I had a great support team with the people on the board and DH :grouphug: . But let me just tell you DD almost got the best of me when she offered to share her chocolate/vanilla sundae with me, but I managed to resist. Later on that same evening after I put DD to bed and I'm sitting at my computer alone since DH was at the firehouse, a Mr. Softy (ice cream truck) came by and stopped right outside my window. Then he gets on the loud speaker and says he's giving away free ice cream. :earseek:

I mean that right there almost got me. Is there anything better in this world than free. I mean ice cream is great all by itself but free just gives it that extra goodness. Plus it was 10 at night so no kids were outside meaning I could get all the ice cream I wanted, uninteruppted. Well I discovered there was, the feeling of accomplishment after resisting enormous temptation.

Soo, I called DH and told him what was going on, he laughed and told me to close the window and turn up the radio. I did one better, I ignored it. When that truck finally drove away, I felt great!

I'm on my way. :cool1:

Great Job Michelle, I thought I was the only one starting late, glad to know I'm not alone. :goodvibes

OK - here is my Monday morning weigh in on Tuesday :)
Another 1.5 pounds lost!!! I wasn't expecting that.....I feel great & everything, but I have been HUNGRY! I have raised my calorie level to 1500 (from 1300). I thought that might slow me down, but I am glad I listened to my body!! Honestly, I think the REAL KEY to all of my losses is the exercise. I have not worked out less than 8 times a week - it really makes all of the difference!! WOO HOO!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I guess im late but it sure looks like it was a good week for us all! I lost another 2lbs this week! :sunny: And another inch.

Since I started measuring inches Ive noticed the losses have all been in the waist. I really want to loose them else where too! Has anyone elso noticed a pattern like this? I was wondering if since thats where most of my extra fat is stored its the first place to loose. Also Ive only been measuring for 3wks now. Before then I dont know what happened.

Good luck all hope this is another great week for us ALL!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I have lost inches, they measure at the gym I go to and I have lost them all over. I wasn't thrilled to lose them, er, " up top". I hope that stops because they don't have a negative cup size do they???????????? :earseek: ;)

I need to weigh myself but I am afraid to.... I haven't gotten back on track since our vacation. I am trying but I lost a little bit of motivation. I am still doing my excercises but the eating....

HHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPP I need to motivate.... :cheer2:

No I dont think they make negative cups but you might find yourself in the teen section buying a training bra! :rotfl:

I dont have that issue and I dont want to loose cup size either but I would sure like to lose the inches in that area not related to bust. I guess I wont be able to have my diet cake and eat it too! :mickeybar

Hope everyone is doing well. I got off track yesterday and had pizza and birthday cake. I went about 100 calories over my limit and a million or so carbs. Back on track today.

Good luck gang! Lori

Monday weigh-in on tuesday. 2lb lost :cool1:

I'm especially happy cause I messed up over the weekend and had chocolate cake and chocolate milkshake so I just knew that I had gained or not lost anything. :goodvibes but I'm back on track this week.

I fell off the wagon BIG TIME Saturday night....when I fall off, I just binge - I am so ashamed! :guilty: It is also my TOM, so i'm feeling extra icky...I was back on track by Sunday, but I don't want to weigh in this week. I know Oprah says to "own your number", but I don't want to! ;) I might weigh in Friday - or wait until Monday, I haven't decided........

Im a little late... but thats cause work has me a little busier than usual.

I have stayed the same weight for the last 2 weeks. I really want to drop 5 more pounds before vacation in 3 weeks. On the good side I have lost another 1 inch on top and another .5 inch in the waist.

Good luck gang, hope your all still at it and doing well.
Lori
