I am struggling between the choice of two lodging choices. I have been online all day..my eyes are weary and my rear is sore..I defer to those who know more than I...Here are the choices: Comfort Inn LBV (family suite..$65 per night)which has the free shuttle, free breakfast and a close proximity to WDW, and Homewood Suites Main Gate(1 BR Suite..$74.37 per night),which has free breakfas and I THINK a shuttle..forgot to write that down. This is one mile from the World. It has been a long journey to get to these choices for my family of 5. Yes, we need to stay w/i a budget, but not so budget that we are sleeping with creepy crawlers. Please give me your thoughts...the good ...the bad....everything in between..THANKS!!
November 6-12 here we come!!

One thing to consider...
I'm almost certain that Comfort Suites are actually studios, not true suites. That is, there is no door seperating the sleeping area from the rest of the room. Homewood Suites does have a seperate bedroom and a great breakfast.

I take it you won't have a car. If you decide to get one, consider a condo like Windsor Palms. http://www.windsor-palms-resort.com/. Also check http://www.vrbo.com.

off site shuttles are mediocre at best. They only leave at scheduled departure times and if it fills up you may have to wait 30 or 45 minutes for the next schedules stop. They also have limited or no service in the middle of the day so if you want to go back to the hotel mid day you may SOL. Sometimes off site hotel shuttles are no where to be found in the evening and then you are forced to take a taxi back. Considering you have to get to the hotel some how I would put the money that you were going to spend on an airport shuttle/towncar and get a rental car. Also if you stay offsite with out a rental car you will be severely limited in the evening for dinner choices.

I truly appreciate the advice. I think we will rent a car, my husband really does not mind driving. I am also going to check out those links.....................MJ
