Opinions on Wolfgang Puck's DINING ROOM?

Looking for opinions on Wolfgang Puck's Dining Room (upstairs). What can you tell me? Would you go back?

Absolutely! I have what I consider minor food allergies. All I need to know is whether they are in the food. I usually just list them and order around them. At WP's I was extremely surprised when the chef came out, took the time to discuss not only that but what my likes and dislikes were. He produced a custom dish, but charged the same price as a regular similar item. He also asked if he could do anything for anyone else at the table and we happened to have a vegetarian dining with us. He did the same thing and came up with fantastic dishes for both of us. During the meal, he came out again to make sure everything was fine. It was one of the nicest experiences that I've ever had at a meal.

We have also dinned at the WP's express on Waikiki. My son loved the pesto special that they had one day. It was not on the menu the next day, but the chef recognized him and asked him if he wanted it again. He ended up having it 3 days in a row. As long as he had the ingredients, he would customize dishes!

Truly a wonderful restaurant.

DH and I make it a stop every time we go, and are planning to go next summer when we take our kids for the first time. We are big Wolfgang Puck fans anyway but I love eating there. The food is always good, we've always had amazing service, and the view is lovely. Plus, although i'm really into Disney it's nice to take a break from "the themes" for a dinner. I would highly recommend going.

Thanks for the responses.

The Cafe & Express are talked about often but you never really hear anything about the Dining Room so I was very curious. Guess the "no news is good news" mentality applies here

We try to incorporate at least 1 new spot each trip & this is one of the ones we still need to check off the list.
