Opinions on the Anaheim Sheraton (castle looking one)

I'm looking for opinions of this hotel from people who have recently stayed there

1. Did you walk to DLR? How was the walk?
2. How's the free shuttle (hours of operation, how convenient)
3. How much is the parking fee? I couldn't find it on the website
4. Is the only internet available the $9.95/day wireless?

We've stayed there twice before and will be there again in October. We had great experiences before, the staff was very friendly and the hotel is nice. It's a little dated, but the rooms are big and the private shuttle was wonderful.

You could walk, but you would have to go over the freeway. Their shuttle was excellent when we went before. It operated every 30 minutes and the drivers were very friendly and helpful. One in paticular would tell us to just board with our kids and then he collapsed our double stroller and loaded it for us.

Our parking is free this time, but it might be because of the package we booked.

You do have to pay for internet in your room, but they do have free wireless in the lobby and business center so you could always pop down there.

I'm wondering what the shuttle hours are, e.g. does it operate before the park opens and when do they stop it.

I always stay within walking distance, but we are pondering a cheap-as-possible Dec. trip for the holiday decor, and this hotel is one of the nicer ones on LMT that has a private shuttle (not ART).

I believe they do offer one shuttle for the Magic Morning times, and then the shuttles start maybe 30 minutes before the park opens? I also think that the last shuttle home leaves 30 minutes after the park closes. I bet if you called the hotel and asked for the front desk they could tell you the times. We haven't been there for several years so I'm not sure if they do it the same way.

I love the Sheraton Anaheim. The shuttle leaves every half our on the hour and the half. It leaves from the parks at :15 and :45. Parking is $10 per night per car.
