Opinions on our December ressies

10:15 am 1900 Park Fare
4 pm enter MK for Christmas party
6:10 pmCrystal Palace

Saturday
10:15 am Chef Mickey's
2:30 pm Sanaa
7:15 pm Hoop Dee Doo

Sunday
9 am 'Ohanna
Drive to "Mickey Boat" for cruise

This is if we do the deluxe dining. Is this worth it? Saturday will be spent exploring the Animal Kingdom Lodge and maybe letting kids play in the water if it is warm enough.

my opinion is....

some of you meals are close together and you may not be hungry yet. For example, 2:30pm will probably take about an hour to eat or so... and then Hoop De Doo is kind of a far out adventure to get to, you need to give yourself about an hour of bus rides and boat ride to get there. and Then before you know it, you're eating again. lol and it's alot of food too. Not sure if the Christmas party has food since I haven't done that, but if it does, dinner two hours later might be too soon.

And since you are coming via airport, plan lots of time to get your bags, get a taxi or car rental, and getting to the resort. Less than 3 hours might be a rush, imo. Especially with check-ins and getting transportation to Jiko (unless you are already right there). And if you have kids too... that might slow everything down a bit more.

I like to be relaxed on vacations and plan them spread out, so that's just my opinion. On the first night- I usually go walk around Boardwalk and eat there without ressies to make things not so rushed. Or the food courts in the resorts/ room service are good options too.

Oh, I should have known that I would leave out info. We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas...so Jiko would be right there. We are most likely doing magical express to the resort...so they will get our bags for us. Just walk down and get on the bus. We have done this several times and realize that wait times can vary. As far as the Saturday travel time, we will have a rental car then for the drive to the port. So, we can use it to get to the Hoop Dee Doo. Oh, the Christmas party does not include food. We figure that we can go on some rides and then have dinner and then enjoy the parade and fireworks! Oh! It does include hot chocolate and cookies I believe.....so snacks for later. It ends at midnight.

My concern is too much food on the deluxe, so I did include two meals that are 2 credits hoping that it would give us new places to try and use up extra credits.

I wouldnt want to be eating DURING the christmas party. Most of the activities are getting ready to start, line etc. I definetely would try for an earlier adr if you can get it. I think we ate like 5:15 at cp at the latest.
