My reservations have been made and amended over the past few weeks... we're trying out several new to us restaurants. Just looking for feedback about what you did/didn't like about each. We're pretty easygoing and can find the good in most places - we're at Disney of course!

8/18 Raglan Road (flying in that morning and planning on a couple hours at the pool followed by BBB in DTD). new to us restaurant
8/19: Tony's at MK (DH wants to stay in the park to make sure we go to fireworks; we've been to Tony's a couple times before)
8/20: Cape May clambake - new to us restaurant. Us New Englanders like seafood!
8/21: Sci-Fi Dine In - new to us restaurant
8/22: Kouzzina. We're Food Network addicts so we're excited to try this, new to us
8/23: La Hacienda de San Angel - new to us, Mexican of any type is my favorite
8/24: Play & Dine at Hollywood and Vine. Been several times but kids love Disney Jr.

DD loves Cinderella and this is our first trip without 1900 Park Fare...

The only one we have eaten at was rr. It was ok but, we didn't love it. Some of the portions seemed a little small. I ordered the risotto and didn't really like it. I didn't hate it though. Just remember everyone has their own opinions. Most people love it. We just didn't. Have fun:thumbsup2

We always eat a Raglan Road - love the salmon and bread pudding and the entertainment is very enjoyable.

We ate at Tony's last year and the food and service was good. We all had some pasta with clams, shrimp, etc. and I can't remember the dessert but Lady and the Tramp was drawn on the plate. Very cute. After we were done eating, we walked outside and watched the parade. It was fantastic.

We have eaten at Sci-Fi for lunch several times. We usually get the club sandwiches and onion rings. We like the food - not the greatest but we love the cars and movies.

We haven't eaten at any of the other restaurants you listed. Have a great vacation!

8/18 Raglan Road We didnt like it at all..loved the music and atmosphere but the food was just awful

8/19: Tony's at MK One of my faves, love the shrimp scampi

8/20: Cape May clambake - new to us restaurant. Us New Englanders like seafood! As a fello NE myself (Boston baby!) you cannot compare this place to what you are used to....it is NOTHING like the food we have in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich etc. It is very good and we make it a point to eat there every year because DH likes the littlenecks and the crab legs.

8/21: Sci-Fi Dine In - new to us restaurant We have been to lunch a few times and it is ok, just burgers, reubens and onion rings. We really like the atmosphere here

8/23: La Hacienda de San Angel - new to us, Mexican of any type is my favorite Totally nasty food...we love Mexican food but the CS out front is so much better than this place. The food was delivered quickly, like it was waiting under a heat lamp and it looked like it was too! So dried out and congealed. Both of us like spicy foods but the sauce on the shrimp tacos was too spicy for me to handle. DH had the mole and it was gritty and thick and tasteless.

8/18 Raglan Road - love the food!!! havent seen the entertainment yet, but i'd like to one day!

8/19: Tony's at MK - absolutely the worst meal in our 10 day trip. Never again.

8/21: Sci-Fi Dine In - Simple food, but quite delish in my experience. Ribs were not fatty at all and quite tasty! burgers are good, and so are the shakes. The atmosphere is amazing!

DD loves Cinderella and this is our first trip without 1900 Park Fare...>>I personally thought the dinner at 1900 was disappointing.

:)

We were just here last week. Make sure you go hungry - loved the crab legs (HUGE), clams, mussels and clam chowder. Lots of other food items too but I couldn't drag myself away from the seafood.

We've been twice. The fist time was good so next trip we went back. The 2nd time not as much variety on the menu and the quality was not there. So now we skip it for a variety of different WS choices.

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it!

I am still looknig forward to trying the shrimp tacos, though I have seen numerous times how spicy they are! We're going to all places with an open mind.

My H and I have loved Raglan Road both times we've gone, especially the Bread & Butter pudding. It's worth it for that, IMO.

The only other restaurant we've been to is Sci-Fi, been there twice, and the food is hit and miss. But the milkshakes are great, and we love the atmosphere.

Raglan Road - This is our favorite place to dine at DD. On our last visit I had Keen Eye for the Shepherds Pie which was very good. Save room for dessert there Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding is so good. If you like bread pudding you will love this.

Kouzzina - We ate here last year and enjoyed it.

La Hacienda de San Angel - We ate here for the first time last Oct. and loved it. I was really surprised because we have eaten at San Angel several times and always found it just so-so.

Have fun.. :)

This is why asking for ADR opinions is tough. It's 50/50 on everything. We thought RR was fine. We both had fish and chips and it was plenty of food.

La Hacienda was not fast for us. It was fresh and not congealed. It's where DD (then 3.5) started to enjoy salsa (theirs was more pico de gallo) and quesadillas. And it's a little more entree-like Mexican. I had a chicken dish and DH had the mole. He loves mole and he said it was fine, not his favorite. But we aren't that picky. And it was nice for us to get away from enchiladas because we often have that when we go out for Mexican at home.

So potato/potahto. If you're happy with your selections, go for it.

We've only been to Tony's and Sci-Fi. Stuck to burgers at Sci-Fi and they were fine, totally worth it for the atmosphere. Tony's food was just okay, but we did have great service there and were able to time it perfectly to walk out and sit right down for Spectromagic. Looking forward to trying Kouzzina in January!

We'll be at La Hacienda that night too!

We'll be trying the Clam Bake for the firs ttime too but not that night.

We like Sci-fo for what it is...burgers and ,lk shakes...not a "must-do" for us b
but not a problem to do either.

And we do breakfast at Hollywood & Vine every trip!

The other ones I have no idea about...never been...have fun!

We have been to Kouzzina for breakfast and dinner and really enjoyed both of our meals! We would definitely go back. Raglan road was ok. We liked cape may, it was a different type of buffet then the norm with the clambake etc. Enjoy your trip and your meals!
