Opinions on MK QS meals

We are headed back to WDW in a little over a week and firming up our dining plans. We opted to skip LTT after all the menu changes and are planning to do a QS lunch for our MK day. BoG is my top choice as I'm in love with the roast beef sandwich but it's not looking good at this point for an ADR for 5 of us.

My current plan probably sounds a little crazy, but I got an ADR at BoG for one person and was going to order food for DH and I, bag it up and take it somewhere else to sit and dine with the kids. Of course it's going to be a little bit of a hassle so it got me thinking, what if any other foods at MK QS locations are as good or maybe even better than that Roast Beef Sandwich. I hear a lot of recommendations for locations, but I'm wondering what specific meals/entrees are really good.

Something that isn't chicken fingers, burgers, or pizza. Looking over the menus there are a few things that look interesting like pot roast mac & cheese (I think that was at Tortuga?) and the barbecue pork hot dog at Casey's. But I know from experience sounding good doesn't mean it tastes all that great.

So, what QS foods do you really love at MK?

Thanks!

The Tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbour House needs to be eaten on every trip! It is really the only QS place we do at MK (although I have been knows to grab some Corn Dog nuggets at Casey's!).

Columbia Harbor House is my favorite QS in the MK. The Anchors Aweigh sandwich (the tuna one the PP mentioned) is very good. I've also gotten the lobster roll and fried shrimp and enjoyed them. I've heard good things about the Lighthouse Sandwich and might try that next.

Keep trying to modify your BOG ADR and/or try for a separate ADR for more people. I wouldn't be surprised if you can eventually get ADRs for all 5 of you.

See we aren't fans of BOG but I guess if you had little ones it might make a difference. We love the new menu at Pecos Bills. It's the only QS we will eat at MK, otherwise if we have to have QS we will just hop on the monorail and go to the Poly. We love Skipper's Canteen so we tend to go there and share an appetizer and an entre.

I agree with both Pecos Bills and Columbia Harbor House. They both offer very good food! CHH has nice seating upstairs, away from the crowds. DD likes their chicken pot pie, and I like the veggie sandwich and clam chowder, as well as the salmon. Pecos Bills has an amazing toppings bar. DD and I can share a fajita order and the guacamole and other toppings are very good and fresh!

Before I got hooked on BoG Columbia Harbour House was our go-to for QS at MK. Especially while I was a vegetarian as their veggie sandwich was delicious. I've been curious about the chicken pot pie but the tuna also sounds good.

Pecos Bills for their great toppings bar. My son and I split the Southwest Salad w/chicken and between that and the toppings bar we were not able to eat the whole thing. It was very good and very refreshing (on a hot humid August afternoon)

We loved Columbia Harbor House. I had the Lobster Roll and cobbler. DS had the chicken pot pie and chocolate cake. The pot pie was so delicious and I could eat the cobbler every day.

Pot Roast Mac & Cheese from Friar's Nook was great too. Large portion and really hit the spot in dreary weather. It just tasted like "home" to me.

We actually really enjoyed the macaroni at friar nooks. Random I know but it's my favourite food even as an adult haha! Good wee quick service!
