Opinions on Mickey's Philharmagic...

My dd7 (sensory integration issues) liked this one, but hated most of the other 3D ones. Maybe because she could close her eyes and still immerse in it all (sounds, smells, etc). She will NOT watch 3D movies in 3D. That said, my 5yo ds and 2yo dd loved it. And it was one of DH's FAVORITE things in MK. Our last day at our resort (ASMu) we finally got around to checking the Philharmagic beer mugs, since DH only wanted one if it had Donald's butt on the back (since his front end is on the front). It did, so we bought, for $12, a mug that we DEFINITELY don't need but had to have.

did it seem overly loud for her? Glad she liked it though....and we've never attempted a 3-D movie w/my son....I hope this one is ok!!!!

Absolutely my favorite and my mother loved it. My dd3 told me that "the movie with the sunglasses" :rotfl2: was "my favorite ride"!!!!! :Pinkbounc Its definitely what Disney is all about!

It's very, very, very good!!! The best of the 3D movies we saw, and to me it was the one with the most Disney magic in it (but probably just because it has the classic characters and is very lighthearted). It was our last attraction of our most recent trip and a great show to end on. It's really neat!

She thought EVERYTHING at WDW was loud. But earplugs alternating with cotton balls helped. The earplugs bothered her ears after a while, so we just used a cotton ball in each ear. Didn't help with the sound quite as well, but was better than nothing. Oh, and for some rides/attractions, she did the old-fashioned cover-the-ears thing. She liked that because she could just move her hands a little off her ears when there was something not too loud that she wanted to hear.

Just be prepared to find quiet places off the beaten path to sit and mellow out periodically. We did a LOT of sitting around!

It's a great show. My kids see it a minimum of two times every trip.

We loved it also. We did have a problem with the glasses for our youngest daughter. She is almost 3 and would not put on the glasses. She was still able to watch but it is very blurry without.
You might want to try to get them used to sunglasses in order for them to be used to wearing. I was supprised they did not have a smaller sized glasses for younger kids.
