Opinions on Mickey's Philharmagic...

I usually hate the shows, but I really enjoyed it :cool1:

Donald's my favorite, so when I was there in March 2004 (my first trip since 2001), I made a beeline to it on my 1st day in MK. Loved, loved, loved it! Saw it again the first visit to MK this trip, and then on my last night in WDW, we headed over to MK. That was the last thing I went on before we left. Gets better every time.

And it gave me the inspiration for my screenname, whoo-hoo! :goodvibes Seeing a Sorcerer Donald :wizard: was awesome. I bought more stuff in the PhilharMagic shop than any other shop in MK this year and last year was the same story :teeth:

we loved it too! our 1st day we did ITBB and my ds3 totally freaked out! hated it!!! so we were a little afraid that he would be the same with this. but no way, he LOVED it. has not stopped talking about it since. when we went to mgm and he saw the hat, he said "look muma it's donald's hat"!!!!!!

Philharmagic is second only to Splash Mountain as my favorite MK attraction. It's that good!

I'm not huge on the 3-D films, but this one is amazing. It features all of the best Disney music, most of everyone's favorite characters, and the in-theater effects are stellar. I also find it even MORE fun on repeat visits - other 3-D shows are less impressive after you've seen them once because you know what is going to happen, but Philharmagic is so magical the experience is wonderful every time.

Easily the best attraction they've added to the world in YEARS...

N.E.D.

love it! love it! love it!

we all thought this was so much fun!! the effects were great and the show itself was adorable. when we talk about our next trip, and all that we can't wait to do, this ALWAYS comes up!!

We saw it twice! My 4 year old little girl absolutely loved it! My wife and I thought it was terrific as well. A definite must-see! :cool1:

Another thumbs up here :3dglasses

I like it because it has the core Disney characters. I don't think there are enough attractions with Mickey and gang in!! It's wonderful to meet them, but my DS4 would like to see them in another attraction somewhere. Donald is so good in this, love how they put in all the great songs from the Disney movies in it. Very well done.

Loved it! Everytime we go, that is one of our first and last stops. When Tinkerbell comes over and you feel like you are flying with Peter Pan it gives me chills!!  :3dglasses

I loved this 3D show - but I thought it was too LOUD for me. Our two year old liked the show but would not think about removing his hands covering his ears. My hubby even had his hands covering my son's hands over his ears. He doesn't have any sensory problems but it was very loud. When we returned from our trip from Disney in April - I wrote them a little note asking if the loudness from this show was based on the fact that it covered up any children's cries or for the older people who might not hear so well. I asked that they check into the decibel level. He didn't have to cover his ears for other things while at Disney.

Love it, Love it!!!!! Always take in multiple screenings while we're there. Without a doubt the best 3D show at Disney....I wish they would update HISTA....seeing what they can do with 3D, it could be so much better. :wave2:

Would this be a MUST-DO or a SKIP-IT for a honeymooning couple? My FH has never been to WDW, and the last time I went, this wasn't open.

I would say as MUST-DO! It is really spectacular! Wonderful effects and the best 3D show hands-down. Lots of favorite characters and movies, I would NOT miss it! Congratulations on your wedding :love2:

I love it!!! I think it is so cute and I love Donald DUck!! I would def say not to miss it.

Definitely a must-do. We would do this even if we did not have our 2 year old with us. It's that good.

I am so glad to read your post - I have a lot of trouble seeing 3D stuff too so I am hoping that I will be able to experience this :flower:
I don't see in 3D at all, and I still loved it!!!!!!!! One of my favorite things at WDW. Be sure to pick up the glasses whether you see in 3D or not... I started not to get a pair, since I knew they wouldn't work for me, but it turns out the picture would have been very blurry without them. With the glasses, I still couldn't see 3D but the picture was nice and clear.

My DS is legally blind. His left eye has almost no vision. He actually could see some of the 3D effects in this movie. He was sooo excited, "MOM! the -whatever- came right at me!" We really enjoyed it.

This is one of our favorites, we LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVED it! I think it's their best 3-D. All of the music was so fun and the effects are great. I really love when Donald is with Arial and all of the jewels come floating out at you. It really does seem like you could touch them!
