Opinions on best location

We are planning a trip this year and do not plan on going to Disneyworld. We have been three times and want to do something different. We would like to stay somewhere within an hour or so from both Seaworld and Busch Gardens. We have two boys, 11 and 9 who like a fun pool. We stayed at Coronado and Carribean beach and would like a place with a tropical feel. A kitchen would be nice too. Should we look for a vacation house rental or something else. Any opinions would be welcome.

How about Orange Lake Resort or Reunion Resort. Both are beautiful resorts with onsite waterparks and villas for rent.

Also any of the Marriott Timeshare resorts are beautiful.

Thanks, Orange lake looks interesting. I would even be willing to stay over toward the gulf coast if something nice there...any more suggestions???

We rented a vacation home in Clermont. It was about half an hour to SeaWorld and an hour to Busch Gardens.

We really liked it because it was in a subdivision right off of Rte 27 & 192. It was very easy access to Route 4, shopping (Publix and Super Walmart) and restaurants. This is the home we rented:

It says 15 minutes in the ad, but it looks WAY farther away than that. Debating on Buena Vista Suites or this place. We have 5 kids, one of which will only be 5 months old at the time, so proximity to WDW is an issue. (we want mid-day breaks). Here's the addy (it's on their website, so it's public knowledge). We stayed in Clermont. The house we rented was in a subdivision about a mile from the junction of 192 & 27. It took us about 15 minutes to get to WDW Main Gate. We were in the Clear Creek Subdivision. I think a lot will depend on how far the house is from 192.
