Opinions on Airtran.

I just found a good fare from Cleveland to Orlando on Airtran. What is anyones opinion of Airtran? Thanks for any help.

I flew Airtran 3 times last year. I didn't have any problems with them. I tend to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to check in and get to the gate. While checking in, ask if you can upgrade to business class (last year if seats were available - you only had to pay $20 and rec'd 2 drink vouchers). If they are still doing this and only have one seat available - let your significant other and kids sit in coach and enjoy the peace and quiet.

I've used them several times flying out of Newport News, VA. They have always left on time, arrived on time or early. The staff has always been courteous and pleasant. I've enjoyed them.

We also cannot complain about AirTran. As good service as any other airline and ususally with better prices.
I love their on-line check in. We picked out our seats and printed our boarding passes at home. Since we only had carry-on luggage we were able to go right over to security and then the gate.
The AirTran employees seem to be very pleasant and helpful.

I flew Airtran to Houston last year and had a good experience. They have a very young fleet of aircraft as well.

We flew Airtran from Akron to Orlando in November. I was very pleased with them. I was able to get seat assignments ahead 2 days ahead because I told them we were travelling with small children. A bonus - the Akron airport is awesome. Small, easy to get around, and less people. Have fun.
