My husband and I might consider taking our 11yr old and 7 yr old for one day at Universal. We are doing a few days at Disney and we may be gifted with free Universal tickets but we really don't have the extra $$ for the express for each of us. We are not Harry Potter fans, so we don't need to do that or need park to park tickets. For the free value of this one park day, will we be extremely miserable waiting on long lines all day? Or, should we just be excited to be there (for free) and take it for what it is. It would be Easter day or the day after.

I would love to take the kids there but I don't want huge meltdowns over insane crowds and not being able to ride anything.

Thank you

It’s a tough question, I guess everyone can see how this happy day could result in a stressful situation.

You COULD book one night at a one of the 3 luxury hotels. If the rates are low you could get express passes for everyone for considerable less then buying them individually.

If you dont go that route, I recommend showing up early and just doing as many rides as early as you can and then check the energy level of your group.
