i am trying to book a 4 night trip for me and DD17 for this October.
We really want to stay at BC but we can only get 3 nights in a standard view but we can add 1 night at the end in a garden view. I know I would pay for both deposits but what are the chances they could let us stay in the standard view room for the last night.

It's always possible. Never hurts to ask.
It's not as likely as if you booked 2 separate reservation with the same booking category. Though even then sometimes you have to move (though we have not so far ever had to move when our reservation changed mid-trip)
And between now and then it's also very possible there will be a Standard room available and you can switch the Garden room. So check daily for a room to open in Standard. You should be able to use the Change Reservation feature online. Sometimes this doesn't work but most of the time it does for me

You can always ask but I think that the likelihood of being able to do it is small. There's a reason why you cannot book that extra night in a std. view room - someone else is already booked into it for the night. Their vacation would probably be starting with that night and ending several nights later. The room assigner would not be able to allow you to stay in the std. view room for one night without displacing the other guest for the same night.

But, anything can happen and it never hurts to at least inquire. People cancel vacations at the last minute and you may get lucky. Just don't count on not having to move rooms.

Beach Club in October is likely to be at or near capacity due to their proximity to Food & Wine at Epcot. It's a popular one that time of year. Because of that, I'd say its a 50/50 shot as to whether they'd let you stay in the same room. Never hurts to ask and worst case scenario, you'll just have to move for the one night.

Depending on the dates, a large portion of BC is booked for the Gartner conference.

I was in a similar situation at Poly last year. 4 nights in a standard view and last night in a deluxe studio at the villas. The first person I asked at check in said no, I couldn't stay in the room. The day I was checking out of the standard view I went to the front desk and asked again, and my request was fulfilled. Always worth asking again if they say no.
