Hey Mark....can we get a list of your favorite hamburgers from around The World? This is a serious request. I'm helping a friend, who's a big fan of food joints that are dives, plan his first trip to DisneyWorld. From some of his questions and comments, I think he's afraid he's not going to be happy with his options on-property. He says things like, "do you think I'm going to want to go off-property for a couple of hours to get a burger or something?" Anyway, what're your favorites? You've had plenty to sample so far. The only one I remember specifically was in a recent chapter, at the American Pavilion....it had pulled pork on top or something?

Hands down, the best burger I've had on property was at Beaches & Cream. Nothing fancy, just a classic American Cheeseburger.

i totaly forgot about the pizza there, will have to put it on the list for next time, it looks really good...but have you had the pizza at wolf gang puck express? we did last week and it was really good...just plain cheese for the kids but it was very well seasoned.

I have never tried Wolfgang Puck Express. I hear wonderful things about it, but whenever I'm hungry at DTD I always end up at EoS.

Hands down, the best burger I've had on property was at Beaches & Cream. Nothing fancy, just a classic American Cheeseburger.

Sorry I'm just getting to this now--been having computer issues and the IT guys are still messing with getting it fixed.

Anyway, I don't really have a ton of suggestions. As others have said:

--the burger at Liberty Tavern in the American Adventure has bbq pulled pork on top of it. Very good.
--Beaches & Cream is a good one.
--Pecos Bill's, for the fixins bar.
--Maybe the Plaza? I haven't tried it, but it's another ice-cream parlor type place.

I can't think of any places at Disney that I would call "Dives", but there are plenty of spots for good, all-American meals of the type I enjoy.

Ok, I know I'm not Mark, but I love burgers too and I feel qualified here. I actually like burgers on property.

They don't exactly make award winning burgers, and for the most part, wherever you get one they're all about the same. That said, they aren't bad at all, and I typically prefer a Disney burger over a burger at most chain places.

I personally like Pecos Bills. Get a burger, go to the toppings bar and load it up.

Illuminations: Still a great show, despide crappy picture angle. Bambi would have stopped me from throwing that guy in the lake. But she would struggle with the decision.

I can't think of any "dives" either.

I guess another good "All-American" food place would be the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. There's good bar & grill type food without having to leave property. Never had a burger there, but I love the buffalo chicken sandwich they have.

thats why i went with the me and the wife order a sandwich at earls, and hey hunny the kids wont like a sandwich ill run next door and get them a pizza...granted the pizza was big enough to feed them with 4 slices left over i didnt plan that one at all.

I tried to give a couple of hints (did you see the one in white font a couple of posts above?) and mentioned that one of the pictures is misleading. I thought that might bait people to say we didn't finish the pizza, but we actually did. Never get between my family in pizza.

Instead, I took a picture of Japan from earlier in the day and stuck it in there, with an incredibly quick mention of a spy mission. In fact, we didn't do the mission in Japan. We left them in Doofenshmirtz's evil clutches as well. Hope they're doing ok.

Up-to-date standings...this is getting to be a close race again!
