Opening night event for Star Wars: Rogue One?

nothing. I'm guessing if they have an event the information would be released a couple of days before tickets sales for the movie. For Force Awakens that was mid October, 2 months before the movie

Can you prepurchase online AMC tickets at DS in general? We will not be there for the Rogue One opening but the following week. It would still be fun to see it while at WDW.
But I'm guessing lines will be long all week.
Time is of the essence on a Disney trip so I would like to have assured seats, if possible!

I'm also hoping they do something this year. We are going Dec10-16 and the opening Thursday is the 15th. I would love to bring DD to this.

We will be there the same week. I hope to hear soon.

Hey all, has anyone heard anything new on this? Since they've announced the Villians party Friday and Saturday nights through December, is that an indication they won't do a hard ticketed event for Rogue One? Just curious as well be down that week and are "trying" to finalize plan.

Latest info seems to indicate there won't be a hard ticketed event.

Fandango is showing that Disney Springs AMC hasn't set their movie schedule for the opening weekend dates. Fandango is showing tickets for Pointe Orlando IMAX.

I just got tickets at amc at disney springs through amc's website. It was very glitchy and I had to use my laptop and phone. It finally went through on my phone.

I just got mine as well. The IMAX type screen did not have a showing at 7, but we did get tickets for the fork and screen at 7.

We went with a later showtime. We're auditorium 1 at 10:30pm.

We're in auditorium 13 at 7:15! So, excited. With this purchase all of my trip plans are officially locked. We'll, unless they announce ROL.....
