yes, and some have whitewalls I believe. That's a lot of money, especially if you have to stand to see over the balcony!Cat T is a 1 bedroom Concierge suite
I also think the 3 day hold period doesn't help. The price is going up in the next 3 days but how many of those people end up putting down deposits especially on the higher priced sailings? By then the price has increased so much new people don't book. Then a year from now Disney has to offer *GT rates back down to what the opening rate was. Wouldn't it just be easier and better for Disney to price adjust again in 3 or 4 days once they see how many deposits they actually get?

@jetskigrl
Any chance you have the breakdown per passenger on this one? I'm trying to figure out pricing for 2 adults! Thanks!
Let's not forget travel agents and interline rates. They seem to suck enough people in at the high prices. Then they sell the remaining rooms at what other cruise lines charge. What I'm paying for our Iceland cruise with an interline rate is probably what I would have paid to do the same cruise on RCI or celebrity. Except on RCI I'd probably be in a verandah not an 11b gty. Unless I decide to do the WBTA I'll probably call and cancel my OBB and get my 250.00 back. I can't see myself ever booking a Disney cruise without a GT or interline rate again. I don't see one cruise over the next 16 months that I would use my OBB on.No, there isn't always someone to take their place. If that were so, DCL wouldn't need to offer *GT rates, cast member rates, FL resident and military discounts. Rates are this high because there are some people (like you) who are willing to pay their high prices - no matter what. When people stop taking the Disney bait on these high-priced cruises, only then will DCL get the message. Supply and demand is alive and well: Stop the demand, and the prices will drop.

It's for people that work for airlines or travel agents.What's an interline rate?

I need to get more familiar with my categories. I think our price would be cheaper for the inside deluxe stateroom (category 11, I think?)
Very disappointing indeed - you would have thought they could calculate that prices are way to high for many people[/QUOTE
I think the Meds will eventually drop, because it's the least safe of DCL's itineraries. Then northern European. Then British Isles. Alaska and Caribbean will remain high until the safety issues in Europe are resolved. To confirm, I'd still go on any of these itineraries. But there are lots of folks who don't want to go anywhere near Europe's terrorism issues right now. They may make the deposits today and tomorrow, but they are going to cancel before the PIF if there continues to be issues there.
I don't think Western Caribbean jumps until about 100 days from sailing, since there are so many of them. However, there are fewer this year than previous, because of additional Southern Caribbean. The following website may help you with historical pricing. I think you would be looking for a 7 night Western Caribbean Itinerary C. It lists all of the room types/categories with descriptions. For more info on the categories, go to the DCL website, "Ships & Staterooms", and "Disney Fantasy Staterooms". It's kind of confusing, but once you start looking at it more, you start to understand it.
