I just went through the motions of booking the 5/9/15 Fantasy Eastern, first with 3 and 5 year old kids and then with 10 and 12 year olds. The pricing was the same in both scenarios. The price per child was $693, regardless of category, up to concierge -- in which case the price went up considerably. Next I tried with 10 and 13 year olds. The price for the 13 year old was $798 for every category up to concierge.

ETA: I just priced the same cruise for 4 adults, and the price for the 3rd and 4th adults was $798. So the price for 4 adults (age 13 and up) in a room is more than the price for 2 adults and 2 kids under 13.

i used 2A2K with ages 12 and 10 for the quote. cm said seldom a difference with these ages. no ins., no transfers.

Under 10 should have a small discount. Under 2 will pay half of a child. For every 3rd and 4th kid.

So we had $761.25 for kids 3-10 and under 2 $438.88

Wow these are high. For the price of the 3 night you could do 7 nights on the Fantasy in Sep/Oct/Nov.

The 12/5/15 itinerary on my paperwork shows the port call being St. Maarten. In fact San Juan will not be called on at all after May 2015. Looks like all the Summer/Fall/Winter 2015 Eastern Fantasy sailings will revert to the same ol same ol of St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay.

That's lousy. They were talking up their new and exciting itineraries. I was hoping to be able to add that as a selling point of "hey we haven't gone THERE yet" vs Jamaica, Coz, GC, St Maar, St Thom, Nassau (3 times 2013-2014), of course CC, and the only one we are absolutely dying to repeat (although we love Coz, CC and St Maar) is Roatan, which hasn't made a Disney appearance.

My problem is that we just weren't over the moon for Magic (minus the new updated areas, but the ship still feels its age, so Europe is out) and I'm not desperate to get on the Wonder now (so Alaska etc out), considering that it's also older, and we have done like all the typical Caribbean itineraries for the past 4+ yrs, so basically that means Dream and Fantasy are not doing anything for new itineraries either.

So I'm starting to agree with whoever said Celebrity. Haven't tried them. Unless I see a ridiculous VGT or something on Fantasy next year to get away, I don't think I'm going to go crazy for booking...

I wonder why they ditched Tortola? They need something to add to the mix...
