Has anyone ever had issues with a Disney Springs reservation made through Open Table? I have a reservation for Valentines Day at the Boathouse because none were available through Disney's website. For some reason (Valentines Day/ Right before President's Day weekend) I am very anxious about us showing up and not having a reservation. Is this rational?:scared:

I’ve used OpenTable several times without issue. It’s pretty common throughout the restaurant industry. I think you’ll be fine. There’s a phone number on Boathouse’s website... you could always call them directly just to double check. Enjoy- Boathouse is one of my absolute favorites!

I did once make a resi through open table and got a call from the restaurant that there was a closed event that night so they couldn’t honor it, but they were notified by open table. I agree it doesn’t hurt to call the restaurant.

I wouldn't be worried, but I have used Open Table many many times, for local restaurants as well as WDW restaurants, and restaurants in other places that we have traveled to.

Thanks all! I have used them locally before without a problem but is usually same day or the day before. Making them so far out ( and it not showing in MDE) just makes it feel like something might go wrong. I will just make sure to print out my reservation and I call to confirm a few days ahead.

I too have used Open Table for restaurants at Disney Springs weeks or even months in advance without a problem.

Open Table is owned by Priceline, not a small company to be sure. I've used them locally and for both The Boathouse and Ragland Road without issues.

I booked Thanksgiving dinner on OpenTable three months in advance. I had no issues.

We booked the Boathouse through Open Table for super busy Easter Week last year. There was zero availability on the Disney ADR website, but the day and time we wanted was available through OT. It worked perfectly!

I would never be afraid of Open Table. We have never had a problem using them at WDW or at home. It's mich better as their is no penalty if you cancel at any time or even not show up.

To piggy-back on this... Is there any issue if you're on the Dining Plan (Deluxe in my case) and use Open Table? I got a much better time at The Boathouse through Open Table than through Disney.
