Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome

Good evening all,

I have been home sick for the last two days.

Hubby was home from work yesterday to watch the kids. I only saw my bed and the bathroom yesterday. Then I had a sore back and ribs. Thought what kind of flu do I have. Forgot I did all that shovelling of snow the day before. Feeling much better then yesterday but still can't eat much. That could be a good thing if it didn't come with the upset tummy. So no hot dogs for me....

UMA , You will be there before you know it.

Celery glad to here you are okay and on the mend.

Happy Un Birthday to you Twinkie. Something tell me we will get it right next time. March is a good month to have a birthday.....

Marita you have a twin who knew, who came first...

I'm here, Nabbie! I must have posted while you were typing. Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. Hope you're on the mend.

My DH had a small procedure done at the doctor's office today, so I took the day off work to go with him in case he didn't feel up to driving home. But he felt fine and we did some shopping on the way home and had dinner at the food court at the mall.

No work Monday - Presidents Day!!! :cool1:

Nab, I think I was the first of the shopping -gene lacking roasting twins, by about 3 years :lmao: Poor MOM, must have been a terrible delivery!

Sorry you have been  , feel better soon!

Marita I guess you are not identical twins then....:rotfl2:

Moo does that mean you dont' want anymore kids....:lmao: Usually when hubby's go in for a procedure.....

Pumba I think you need and deserve a vacation.... Your doing a great job keeping up with the two moms.

Nab, we were done having kids YEARS ago! I'm old enough to be a Grammy now :lmao:

This was in follow-up to some surgery he had last year, though.

I don't think anyone commented, so I'm doing it.

YO! UTAHMAMA!
You did not let yourself go!
Freakazoid.
You're still a smoking hot mamma!!!
And thin!

(She hasn't gone to Disneyland yet?)

Celery, HI, you are sounding chipper. Good for you! Hope you are nicely on the mend.

And I meant to comment on something else, which eludes me now, dang cheese brain! I am sure it would have been hilarious though :rotfl2:

Pumba I saw them but didn't try them on one of our trips. Too red for me...:rotfl2:

Celery how are you doing today?

Pumba, I dont think I ever had a red hot dog. I am not sure I want one either.

So has anyone ever had a red hot dog?

Pumba, that probably depends on how you define a "red hot". In alot of areas it just means a hot dog with a natural casing. In some areas it means a pickled sausage. Some are just hot dogs with a red casing:

yup that is a red hot dog........we assisted one time at a big cookout in NH ......about 30 or so people.....we brought fifteen pounds of burger and made some mega burgers and red hotdogs.....the rest of the food came from the NH people....BUT.....these people were more scared of the red dogs then the moose burgers.......hahaha.......BUT they all tried them and enjoyed them

Pumba, I dont think I ever had a red hot dog. I am not sure I want one either.

Marita, a german that would balk at eating any kind of sausage, they would disown you back in the old country;)

No Nab- regarding your last edit, there's no womb at the Inn. So it's ALL on Twinkie! ;)

Pumba- red dot-dogs??? (my kids call them that) Splain! OH, I see Joe posted.

Joe- you're like Jesus, always there when I need him! :cool2:

Celery- "HOT" :lmao: (I yam not!) Thanks though! I think about you every time I eat. I picture you with a thimble full of broth or something pitiful :guilty:

MOO- You are So wonderful on the WISH thread! I just love you bunches!!!!!

Marita- come to DL with us! Your boss will understand...sure! Keep your weather in Florida, though.

Boy that picture does not really show how red they are..... I was going to say they look like they are in red plastic.

Like I said I saw them but didn't try it. Hubby would have and probably did. He is a adventurous one.....

Nab- are they squoze in red casing or is it some hot stuff making them red?
I dont even like the red rind on cheap bologna. The part you take off and throw away.

Wooooooooohoooooooooty Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
