Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome

Guess he can't lock his keys in the car then....:rotfl:

Does that mean he only has the little button thing that would unlock the car doors too.

You will have to take it for a spin....If you are like me I take over the new cars and hubby gets the older one. Well that is how it usually worked until he got that honking big truck that I won't drive. Maybe he did that on purpose:rotfl2:

Pushed DH's button, eh, Marita! LOL.

Nab, no such luck on getting off work tomorrow. They sucked up most of the water with one of those big floor cleaner machines and said they would be working on cleanup tonight. I'll believe it when I see it!!! And smell it. They need a bunch of those big blowers to dry things out.

Yes, that little thing. You dont even have to push a button, if you have the thing in your pocket and you are near the car, the door opens for you! Kind of scary, come to think of it.

I always got the newer cars too, but i DH has had his since '98 or so, so I guess it's his turn for a change.

Moo, stay warm tomorrow!

Well I think I will head off to bed.

I really didn't do much today and my house is screaming clean me. And it is suppose to be just as cold and snow tomorrow so I will have to stay in anyway. I want my room steward back....He brought fresh towels twice a day and left chocolates and towel animals on my bed.

Everyone stay warm and cozy.... Night all.:)

12 degrees tomorrow - that will be an improvement! It is 3 now and was -8 last night.

I left the heat higher than normal in the house today so it wouldn't take forever to warm up when we got home from work.

Still no response from my cousin with the condo in Florida. I'm going to have to break down and call her!

Yikes, Moo, and I was freezing at 63 today! I don't think I could take that weather. It was so drab and dreary today, I didn;t even stop off to get wine tonight, I thought I would drink what we had in the house. One too sweet, one too tart, bleach!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'll have some hot water with lemon juice and call it a night. I am always tired on Mondays.

Night all. Have a good Tuesday!

My first task of the day was giving the baby a bath, cliping his finger nails and "cleaning" his room.

Anyone wanna guess what he had done? Again.

I worked on my stroller last night...I might be getting closer.

He said he'd rather buy me $200 dollar purse than a $200 dollar stroller.

Of course, I said, "I want both". ;)

Anyone ever had Organic beer?

In no particular order:

Dr.Dre- Welcome back! Glad you had a good trip.

Pumba- Thinking of you today. I know what you are talking about with the sudden decline. Same thing happened to my Grandfather-in-law. At 94 he was climbing on barns to paint them and this jovial nice guy who loved to have company and in a few months he was completely frail and disoriented as to the time (he thought it was the 40s)

Kay- Thanks for your nice comments! I will be back to comment on your TR- I just have a policy of not posting unless I have read every word to date. I am not caught up yet. I did hop over and read the Bunny&Mummy one.

MommyP- Ewwww. I think I would consider a change of diet for a few months. Or duct tape his diapers together. And one piece jammies. And maybe more duct tape. One of mine learned how to strip down at that age. You would go to her crib and she would be nakey and cold and the bed would be wet.... the diaper would be dry however.

Marita- New car eh? Well that sounds fun. I KWYM about low tolerence for DH's splurges (now my splurges make total sense). Also I know how to improve the capture rate at the parks. Disney should hire me. I am just full of good ideas. Goog ideas too.

Moo- Hope you have a dry and not mildewy day! I hate that smell. Give us an update tonight.

NAB- Those pictures are bee-u-ti-ful!!!! I would have bought them all! You guys are great! I love the father-daughter and mother-son ones! And the family. And Jack.

***Folks- Nab & Co are just as cute... if not 10 times more so... in real life! They just shine with happiness (and a little sunburn adds to the glow ;) And Mr. Nab has this great hat in which he is especially adorable!).... seriously, not only are the good looking people, but you can just feel the love this family has for one another (even on a 13 hr tour of MCO). I certainly would have loved spending more time with them!

Washer Update: DH looked at it. By which I mean he opened the laundry door, looked at the thing and asked me who I thought we should call :confused3 now he is a good man who works hard for the family so I didn't say "Ghostbusters".... so now I need to call a repair guy but I can't today cause I have to go to work.... however the washer is small potatos because

He got the job he wanted!!!!!!!!!
Now that is a woohooty!:woohoo: And a big answer to prayer. So my little house on the prairie will officially be for sale soonishly. Anyone want it? DH painted the living room (wheatfield... looks great!) and steam cleaned the carpets while I was at Disney. (I am renewing his contract for a another 10 years I think!)

OH that's WONDERFU, Twinkie!!!!!

I'm so happy for you guys!
I'm selfishly sad you have to work today, though.

I went to a "family" birthday party last night (as oposed to a "friend" b-day party) and it was a 4 1/2 (out of 5) stars on the drama scale! popcorn:: It was for 3 nieces and I threw Riley in since his b-day is in February.

My role in the family is twofold: the peacemaker and the personality. I wore my peacemaker hat last night (it's an invisible Dr. Suess hat) because my teen aged nieces where all fighting and crying and me and my one SIL where trying to DO the party anyway. IS there anything worse than 3 one-hundred pounds overweight each girls crying over the same boy and fighting? NOPE!

"Family Fun" entertains me, thats' how SICK I am.

MommyP- I safety pin on Norah's blanket sleeper or I'd have the same gross problem. Be a brave soldier.

I don't know what his problem is! He took off his pants and, I guess he was trying to get it out? He could so easliy be potty trained right now, if I wanted to devot that much time to it. He tells is he has to go and goes on the potty(pee and poop) all the time. Sometimes even when we're out. Plus, he was probably mad and did it to get back at me because we lock him in his room. (for his and our own safty and sanity.)

Nab- Ohhhh! Your pictures are gorgeous! Guess which one I like the bestest?

The Jack Sparrow one, of course! Did you get rid of all his rum? pirate:

I'm so glad you had such a great time. Hannah is sooooo cute in her Cinderella gown. Did she "carry" herself more gracefully? I love you guys!!!!

MommyP- You know what the karma is for saying to myself, "Whew! Glad that wasn't me!" ????

Only Read if you're not squeemish:
I went into the laundry room where my dogs sleep, and there was 3 dinner plate sized puddles of Poop Pudding and right next to the heater vent was a big yellow pile of barf-and they had stepped in it!!!! :scared: I put on my hazmat biohazzard suit and cleaned the bulk of it with paper towels and then rushed all that outside to the dumpster...and to breathe! I mopped using disinfectant, twice. Now I'm venting that room. And venting to y'all. Karma is a great thing!

Good morning all!

And all I can say this morning is

Ewwwwwww! People! Ya'll are nasty!!! :rotfl:

NAB, those are GREAT pictures. You all look so happy and it sure looks like you had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing the photos. I imagine you'll be going through cruise withdrawl for a few weeks.

I'm glad you intend to finish reading mine. Thanks. And thanks for stopping by to read Bunnysmum. In the last week or two she's starting to finally pick up a bunch of readers, which is great. I PM'd her and said she should stop by over here, but I don't know if she will. She seems like a very nice person and a lot of fun. I'm sure she'd fit in well with this crew. :)

UM.......go to the store and get some ground chicken and minute rice......two cups of rice and two cups of water in the microwave for 5 minutes..let it stand and brown the chicken burger in a fry pan and mix it with the rice .....a cup in the morning and evening until their bowels are okey........had to pay 50 dollars for this treatment....hahaha....Megara had a shot too but she had a fever...anyways......try this and I swear if they are just irritated bowels your doggie will be a okey in a few days.....

I would gladly deal with my baby's poop over my dog's poop. YUCK!

I'm with Dre this morning EWWWWW!!!!

I have yet to start cleaning my house but I don't have to deal with either issues thank goodness.

Spend the morning running errands and getting some food. Was running out because I left the fridge pretty bare when we left. Poor hubby took crackers and cheese in his lunch today. The kids call this lunchables....they love it.

Twinkie, Wooooohoooooty on hubby's new Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UMA Jack was really great on the ship. He took his time with all the kids. Talked to everyone even the women wooing over him. :rolleyes1 When we took that pic on the beach he asked me if I minded that he didn't shave that day.

Have you ever been to stupidguesttricks.com??? I hate that place! I've only gone once or twice to find something out. Geez. Ruins the disney magic. Those CMs are brutal, hate guests and hate WDW! :scared1:

I wanna ask about using old FP though. LOL

Twinkie - I forgot to ask...where are you moving? Out of the prairie or just to a new house?

Yes, I discovered that site a few weeks ago. I was stunned! It's hard to believe such a website exists. I guess it's better they vent their frustrations in this rather harmless way than to take it out on the guests. There are some funny bits on the site, though.

Thanks for stopping by to read my "story." I just read your post. I always wondered if anyone "got" my fuse joke!
