Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome

I think #2 is a lie.

Just a guess. I think you maybe tricking us with the every year to WDW maybe you only go every other year.

That is what happens when you have a lot of little kids you know all their songs. My mom was surprised how many songs I knew when we went to Play House at WDW. I don't get to watch many anymore since my youngest is in school all day.

I'm going to guess the spongiemommie05 # 2 entry is a lie. If you lived there I would assume you would spell it correctly. :rotfl2: Sorry to pick on you. And Welcome

In case anyone is bored and wishes to be more bored, I have a new trip report segment up for you to read today. ;)

Spongemommie-I think number three is a lie. And. Welcome to our cafe!

Hi, Kimmie and Amy! Nice to see you.

I didn't know you live in Wheat Thins land, Kimmie!

Amy, so sorry to hear about you grandma and your cold visit to parts north.

Spongie, good to have you here, too! I'm going to go with #3.

On Lil G's, I think I'll randomly pick #1. By the way, I agree with you and Pumba that Cherish is a great song (showing my age).

Any one know if you can carry your own snacks on to the plane? I know you can't carry water. Or is it you can't carry this stuff throw security but can buy it on the other side. :confused3

I am packing everything in my luggage except for our meds. Maybe some advil for headaches. I usually get one on the plane.

spongemommie never came back with an answer. Neither did Lil'G.

Nab, I carried snacks from home onto the plane in my backpack. But I bought some water at a store near the gate to have on the plane on the way down though. Just make sure your snacks aren't gels or liquids that exceed the limits.

When I flew home earlier this month and wasn't feeling well, I must have looked bad enough that the VERY nice flight attendant brought some water to me right away when I asked!

Sounds like you made some great progress on your packing today.

Come back Spongie and Lil G!!!

Have a great trip! Yes, you can take snacks. I made up a bag of trail mix from the bulk dept. at the grocery store and took that on our last trip.

Have A Great Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lacto is. I kinda am. I am working out or was. I am done now. Boy am I gonna hurt tomorrow!:sad2:

We won't need much for snacks since we are flying out at 7:30 so we would probably just had dinner. But with the kids it would keep them busy for all 5 mins.:rotfl2:

I did got all the kids clothes done. Just have to pack shoes and of course every last pair of underwear.

My sister said that my Mom has been sick for the last two days and I can't get a hold of her tonight. I sure hope everything is okay there. I hate living hours away where I can't just drive and see for myself. Can't get a hold of my sister either.

Today just flew by....

Nab and Twinkie, I forgot, how long are you each going to be gone for?

We wll miss you!!!!!!!!!!!

I fly back on Feb 3 in the late afternoon.

I hope I cross paths with Twinkie in the airport. Since you have to be off the boat by 9:00 we will be in the airport most of the day.

Nab-You better not leave without saying goodbye first! That would be a no-no! I am very excited for you and for Twinkie. We started to go on a cruise last year but decided to wait until our boys were just a little bit older. Our youngest was still too young to do very many excursions on the islands.

Take good notes, we will want to hear all about it!

NAB - have a great trip!! We took snacks - chips, crackers and stuff like that.

On the return trip, I found out the hard way that Jack had placed several honey packets in his carry-on at the Resort. The screeners took them away from him. I wanted to melt!!

Look at the time!

I am feeling Siddish.

Forsooth.

Shazaaam!

Number 3 child aka Twinkerbell had a bad dream but she couldn't crawl into bed with us because the Golden Child was already hogging the room. How can a 23 lb person take up so much space? It is a conumdrum. Probably involves the theory of relativity. So she is sleeping on the couch. The men are in the bed and now I am wide awake.

Golden Child has given me quite the week. Maybe I will post the details when I am more recovered from the events... don't worry. All has ended well. Let us just say that he is indeed the Golden Child and raising a ninja warrior is no easy task. We are both fine and as far as I know the department of bad mothering has not yet been contacted.

My first night of class went well. It was packed. Not an empty seat in the house. Seems like a good bunch. I have one mother-daughter pair.... they are too cute. The daughter is named after an adult beverage.

Marita- I leave on Saturday and will be gone a week. I'll be at the airport for my return trip with Nab. Nab- I'll be the worn out one with formerly reddish brown hair (now gray) with the adorable 20 month old strapped to his stoller with duct tape and two little princesses in tow who are both talking a mile a minute. I will mindlessly repeat such things as "no no sweetie, we don't eat gum stuck to the floor at the orlando international airport" and "don't touch" and "don't annoy your brother" . Look for me!
Spongie number 3 is the big fat lie.

Morning all,

Angel you sound very cheery this morning....

Twinkie I hope you get a nap today.

Steph got you no honey.... My son is alway taking sugar packs. :confused3 But I guess they call honey liquid.

Today is iron day for my clothes and hubby's if he very picks his clothes out.

But first things first ,have to get the kids off to school.

I'm a morning person Nab. So how excited are you!:yay:

Hey all! Have a great trip Nab and Twinkie!
Don't stress about the security, snacks should be fine.
I think it would help to take the layers off before you get to the security line so all the kids have to do is take off their shoes and walk through.
I always try to help families through security when I see them.
It's the adults who wear ten layers and seem to have metal coming out of their ears that get on my nerves.
Why on earth does anyone need four of those gray bins for all their stuff? Are you a pack mule?
Once again, this is for single adult travelers only.
I understand if there are young ones involved.
