Kids are out enjoying the knee high snow. Well really it is the drifting that makes it look really deep. To bad it isn't packing snow, they can't even make a snowman.

Lil'g your parents sound like Lucy and Desi from I love Lucy.

Syd who need a Valentine when you have all of us. Do you have an arranged marriage in London or something :confused3 Good Luck!

Hey, Lil' G. How are you?
Yes, I am a nurse who takes care of babies. I am not a baby who is a nurse nor do I nurse babies (been there, done that, bought the t-shirt:rolleyes: )

I have nerves of steel, btw. Ice water running through my veins.

Kay I'm glad your not getting this storm. We usually get missed by storms too but not this time.

Our snowblower is in the back shed too. No way that is coming out now I don't think. Think the back gate is frozen shut too with a ton of snow behind it. Boy weren't we prepared:lmao:

Funny part is l love to shovel the snow. Only problem is we live in a subdivion and there really isn't anywhere to throw the snow if we get too much. The snowblower can throw it further then I can.

Hi, NAB. Lowell slogged out to the mail box and he says we have 8" but it's hard to believe we got that much. The snow has been the kind with very tiny fine flakes. You wouldn't think it could amount to anything. Fortunately we're not getting the wind. I've had back problems so shoveling snow is on my don't do list. Besides I do NOT enjoy shoveling. It sound's like you need a new place to store your snow blower! :rotfl: Hopefully the snow and ice will melt and you won't need it. We have a tractor, so unless that gets completely buried in snow, we should be in good shape.

Kay we usually have it in the garage but our winter has been so good this year. This is only the third time we got snow this year. The other two times were more ice then snow. Not sure why he didn't switch the lawn mower and snowblower around. :confused3 Actually we teased that we would have to cut the grass again just before Christmas we had so much rain instead of snow.

The snow is just fine stuff too, actually it has stopped snowing now. They said the wind is going to pick up and blow this light stuff around.

Have to take the kids to swimming lessons tonight. Maybe I will take them to McDonald's for Valentine's Day , no reservation needed.:lmao:

Is this the riddle thread or what? Let me guess. You are a midwife.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone

Lil G and Joe, how sweet of you, thanks!!!

My assistant and I made our diversity board today (theme "Know your team and engage your team") I have no idea what that has to do with diversity, just going with the orders here. Boss was nowhere to be found for input, he said just do whatever, don't spend too much time on it... As long as we have something...

So we have a board with listing of our "Services". Budgeting, forecasting, reporting, Internal Controls, etc. all spelled out in different colors, along with clipart of lots of Scrooge McDuck and some dollar signs and some clipart of office people with our names and titles.

Well, at least it is very colorful :rotfl2:

Joe how nice of you to think of us ladies here... Thanks.

Hope your wife got the real thing. Maybe more....

Marita that is colourful :lmao: Sounds good to me even though I have no idea what all that means or what you really do all day. I could never work in an office....

The snow has stopped but it is really cold out, just got back from swimming lessons. Brrrrrrrrr.

we have been plowed in by the city plows.......hubby will probably stay home tomorrow and snowblow us out.......never mind probably........WILL......even our big truck could not go over the bankings the city made......the wind is horrible and blowing like a madman.....whiteouts still.....probably 16 or so inches.....but nothing like my nephew in Oswego NY.....he is still pushing it out of his way......
Megara refuses to go outside.....she hits the wind and she runs for the door....poor little wimp.....rofl

Ooooohhhhh, roses! AND chocolate!!! Thanks, Joey! Happy Valentine's Day to you and the rest of the crew here.

HI, SID!!!!!!!!!!! Missed you bay-bee!

I was in a lovely all day meeting today. At least we had had Chinese food for lunch (which I arranged). Nobody complained about their order :lmao: and someone brought Ghirardelli caramel squares, so it was all good. It made me think of Kay's TR about getting free samples at Downtown Disney!

Wow, Nab, Pumba and Kay - sounds like you got socked by the storm a lot worse than we did. We probably only have about 5-6 inches on the ground, although we too got the really fine snow that drifts like crazy. DH plowed our driveway and sidewalk with the quad so I never have to shovel (thank googness).

I'm SO sick of the COOOOOOOLLLLDDDDDD!

I have another all day meeting tomorrow. Thank goodness for my batphone.

Marita - Glad you got your diversity project done. Scrooge McDuck! Cool!

I had a long reply posted earlier re: my diversity project, but my dear netwrk decided to cut me off again, LOL!

I think it was something along the lines of nobody would come to tomorrows diversity event if it wasn't for free food.

Bets on hot dogs, anyone?

DD went to the new BF's tonight to cook him dinner. Chicken Cordon Bleu with mashed potatoes and peas. I asked her if she was using her 0% milk, she said no, but she was bringing her chicken and something. ?????????
Anyway, she took a frozen CCB, I am confused about the rest.

Stay warm everyone, I am NOT talking about my weather :rolleyes1
I will be complaining starting about May......

:rotfl2: The minute I read "Ghiradelli carmel squares," even before I saw you mention my name, I had a flash of that lady with the wicker basket over her arm handing out samples at DTD! I LOVE those things. The carmel ones are goog! BTW, have you finished reading my "story" yet?

Chinese food for lunch sounds yummy. I usually eat boring salads for lunch. Since Lowell had the gall bladder attack last week, I'm hiding the whipped cream can on him, and cutting down on fatty foods. Looks like he'll be eating boring salads with me.

When you guys do diversity, can you dress up like dogs, ducks, chipmunks and mice? All those Disney critters hanging out in one room ought to count as diversity.

Kay, I'm still reading your trippie, but I'm past the halfway point! I'm going to treat myself to some more reading tonight.

I'm going to have to visit Ghirardelli on my next Disney trip. We only had about an hour to shop at DD in January before our dinner ressie. Then, our dinner at Raglan Road ran pretty long, so no time for browsing/shopping (boo) afterward because none of my friends were night owls. They all wanted to get back to Pop and go to bed so we could get an early start the next day.
