Help ! I just woke from a nightmare!

First thing, my husband came out of the bathroom and had shaved his gorgeous head of hair ( he has had silvery white hair since he was in his late 30's);THEN ! he said he had an errand and would be back in a few. THIRTY minutes later he walks in the door with a flag and his name tattooed on his bald head!!! I kept asking why he would do something like that, and could he start wearing ski caps cause the colors on his head are going to show though when his hair grows back and he just kept smiling at me

Haley -- You are one super mom. Hubby went on a field trip today with Nicholas to Medieval Times.

Mommy P--Good other yeller. I say the same thing I am just speaking loudly so he can hear me because sometimes I think Nicholas is deaf Glad your going to be able to make it.

Wondered where you went too. Don't watch Lost. I know a lot of people like that show but I can't get into it. Did watch Top Model and Idol results show.

The sun is shining and it is suppose to get up to 15 C ( which is about 60 or so) today....woohoo. That is good for us.

Heading out to Home Depot to return a blind that needs fixing. The since Walmart is next door.....

My husband wasn't holding a flag, the American flag was tattooed (sp?) on the top of his head. His name was across the back- still trying to figure out how 17 letters fit ?!?!?

Sounds like you kids are going to have a super duper meet! Too bad we'll miss y'all by a month!

Lost is my FAVORITE show! However, I cannot STAND the waiting inbetween weeks and how there are ALWAYS like a month here and there with nothing but reruns. So we decided not to watch it this season. Instead, we're going to just buy it when it comes out on DVD so we can watch non-stop. Which has been hard! Trying not to see spoilers on TV and in the magazines!

Chad keeps talking about wanting another tatoo. I keep telling him we should just be thankfu your wild years before meeting me didn't result in hep c and we shouldn't tempt fate. Not that I believe in fate. lol

Actually, this ties in with a previous idea, only I don't know if I'd have time to work on it much. My idea was to write an interactive fictional trip report, using real readers as characters, and some fictional peeps. I would write parts of the story to get it going, and other posters would pick up the thread and add sections of conversation and plot. There are a lot of good TR writers here, so it could be really fun and funny. If we started this before your DIS meet, you could have some "scripts" with dialog ready to go by the time you met in September. If nothing else it would furnish funny material to talk about.

Utah I am sooo glad you got the contacts out. That is my biggest fear. My 11yo wants to get contacts and I just know I am going to end up having to help him at some point. I'll come here for advice when that time comes!

Tomorrow I have a heck of a long day. My Girl Scouts are going to Build-a-Bear (year end/cookie celebration) and I have to track down all the Mommies that have not turned in permission slips, buy a snack, deposit funds into the bank account so the check I write to B-a-B is not hot, go to Starbucks (just checking if anyone is still with me), pick up prizes and figure out who gets what (which means going through a huge stack of papers in hopes that I did not already round file that list, which I think I did). And I have no dinner plan, but I will be out and about from about noon-6pm, not good.

Friday I am gone all day for a field trip. We are going to the nature center Next week I have another one too. 80 5th graders at a huge park with water stuff and such. Then two weekends in a row of camping. I need a vacation!

Welp, I got ONE in in 3 tries! The other has to wait till all the daycare buddies are here. I dont want them to see me freaked out if things get ugly!


What about Teddy Grahams for your Build a Bear snack? It's a goog tie-in.
I LOVE field trips! OTHER people's kids are usually GOOD!

(HELK!)I am always too late to chat everyone is in bed by now oh well at least i know i am not a thread killer the thread is already dead when i get on here another birthday down one more to go and then next sat a huge b-day party for the 2 boys and then another party,(Build a bear for the girlies) following that sat and i am done for at least 3 1/2 wks and then lil May May and no more till next yr (well the kids at least)

Twinkie? So did you get an offer? Was it a low-ball offer? UGH, the counter-offer stuff is so stressful, especially if there's a lot of homes on the market comparable to yours. Dont go too low just to go.

Lost has been trying my patience too, but the last few weeks have been really good! The twists and turns it is taking are keeping me glued to my seat. Oh, and Sawyer and Des aren't bad to look at either
