hello everyone. I was off playing with ds3 who is keeps looking for his brother who isnt here. Its so cute. I was just informed by DH that he wants meatloaf for dinner. All I am gonna say to that it YUCK!

The beach was nice. Not clear like it's been in the past, but probably because it was more wavy. And it was partly cloudy, but I still got some more tan! Woohoo!

We bought a weather radio for severe weather alerts today. That way I can sleep at night! Looks like the storms aren't going to make it here until tomorrow during the day now.

Chad and I got to talk more about Disney. AND he said that when the time comes if we haven't been able to save enough for the Poly we can go anywhere else. Mod. or value(POP)! I'm thinking a few days a Pop and a couple at the Poly, if we can swing it, otherwise just all at Pop! Can I put my extra kid on someone elses ressies?

He also said if things go well we can go for a 3-4 day trip in Dec. and try for a longer trip at the Poly in May(longer to save, plus some of the tax return). YAY! He hasn't gone to the dark side yet!

We also decided that since we bring the kids to the beach all the time, we're going to go by ourselves for a couple nights in May, instead of everyone since it will be cheaper. AND more relaxing!

He also said(IF I am still not preg. by Oct.) that he is ALL IN for just the 2 of us at the Food and Wine!

So, it's looking MUCH better for us to be able to be going at an undisclosed time and place.

Back from shopping. Never made it past the drugstore, where I spent a fortune on yet more creams!

Rant here: Why is it the same company has tons of different creams out that all promise the same thing?????? Why do they have different versions And if so, why dont they say how they differ from each other????

Bought same alcohol too, but since the fridge and freezer are stuffed to the gill, I skipped the grocery store.

Just fed some week old fried chicken from the store to the dog. DH and I both bought a package of freshly fried chicken last friday. he was trying to be nice to me.
I had maybe 3 pieces during the week. All dried out now.

Oh well, I hear fresh meat diet for pets is all the vogue now, with the pet food scare.

My daughter got in a little before 8:00. It's GREAT to have her home again.

Celery, the Applebee's margarita is called the Perfect Margarita. I know because I had two(!) with dinner tonight. Two of my good friends from work who came for visitation went to dinner with us.

Things went fine at the funeral home tonight. The flowers that my sister, her best friend, and I picked out for Grandma were beautiful - everyone thought they looked great. Pink and white lilies, pink roses, pink Gerbera daisies, purple iris and some other pretty purple flower, and pink and fuschia carnations.

Nab, my hubby has a sleep machine, too - his new one is very quiet. The old one was terribly loud. I always worried about hearing loss when it was running!

Here I am staying up late once again. The funeral is at 1:00 tomorow, so I guess I better get to bed.

I'll have to catch up with the WT thread drama tomorrow night.

Minnie Moo - my thoughts are with you!! I was telling DS' about your redneck problems, and then reminded them of what my mom did to grandma... we had a good laugh... it takes time before the laughter can enter, but those memories of grandma are good ones - hope you got a picture of those flowers, they sound so beautiful!!

Just talked to my SIL. Mom is still in the hospital, but maybe transferred to a short term care facility for a few weeks. SIL said she is mostly clear in the head again, thanks to new meds (or rather lack of old ones that were not good for her), but still has occasional funky episodes. Like saying why can't Mike (my DH) just come and vist. SIL explained that it would take a long flight (24 hours round trip) just to shake hands and go back, and she said, Oh yes, right!, and then went back to normal. I am not liking this whole development, but at 93, I guess you have to expect some downturn sometime.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - - My ds birthday is tomorrow too (Income Tax day, and we were late filing that year, dh didnt believe me!! ) My middle child... 2nd son... turns 19... where does the time go?? AND for his bday? I came down to his college - he's a freshman and is in the Orchestra for the College performance of My Fair Lady... only its "Mother's Weekend" on campus... no rooms nowhere w/in an hour's drive!! DS#1 is sharing his room with dear old mom!! tight quarters, but hey, he has internet!!

and not only was it raining today, but it was rain mixed with SNOW!! ITS COLD!!

and I met Lynda from the Disappearing Peep thread - she took pity and let me stay all night at her house last night!! So fun to meet up with a "figment" of my imagination!!

Spongie and UMA That sounds like so much fun!! I want to go to a scrap fare in Indianapolis - and meet Mousehouselover!!
