Our neighbour has just smashed into Gary's car - and it's my fault :sad2:

I used Gary's car to go shopping as mine was having a new Cam belt fitted. Normally his car goes on the drive but I parked it out the front of the house to unload the shopping and didn't move it back onto the drive.

Our next-door-neighbour has just come home, skidded round the corner (it's still really icy on our estate) and straight into the side of Gary's car :sad1:

I feel really bad that I didn't move it onto the drive. On a separate note, I cannot believe how icy the pavements and road outside are - it's lethal out there. When Gary went out to survey the damage, he nearly fell flat on his back. I hate this weather :sad2:

sorry to hear that, but on the upside, technically (regardless of who parked where) they drove into you, so any no claims you've got will stay the same and they'll have to claim on theirs. still a bit awkward with the neighbours though! hope you manage to get it sorted out soon

sorry to hear that Joh, this icy weather is such a pain,i will be glad when everything melts

Sorry to hear that Joh, I hope it doesn't cost too much to put right

Oh no mate :headache: not your fault at all tho, you weren't to know what was going to happen

Sorry to hear that Joh, not really anyone's fault.

Oh no the same thing happened to us yesterday a policewoman (moms neighbour) went into us out side my Moms, there road is really dangerous too but the council refuse to grit it. Hope it doesn't cost too much to repair.

I'm sorry to hear that - the roads in most of the UK are shocking. I had a near miss this morning.

Hope you got everything sorted out on the insurance front - if you need any advice let me know, I work for an insurance company and can even spinkle pixie dust on cars or that's what I tell my clients! hehe.
