Oops I did it again! WHY MUST I YOYO!!!

Surviving the dentist - hope you rewarded yourself for getting through that torture!! ::yes:: Glad you don't have any cavities - now you don't have to go back for 6 whole months!! YAY!

Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend, filled with fun, healthy food and exercise!! :sunny:

I was really good this week with points, water and excersise but I gained 2 pounds:( I guess it was a delayed reaction from my wreckless 5 day food bender I went on the previous week. Oh well- I will try really hard to stay op and get that 2 pounds off along with a few more before my trip June 16th.
Everybody have a great weekend.
Mary

I just read through your journal. You really are doing great. Especially considering all the stresses you have had going on. I don't blame you for being sick about the neighbor situation. I know they have to live somewhere, but why in a neighborhood full of kids? I am definitely not that liberal when it comes to forgiving someone who has the potential to harm little ones. Sick. I hope this gets resolved for you. Good luck this week staying OP.

Your daughter looked adorable in her First Communion dress. Our daughter also made her First Communion this year and it was so special. Have a good one.:D

Thanks- Okay - new week- new month- new plan!
I am going to do the treadmill every weekday (25 minutes minimum) until my trip and take off on Sat & Sun. I am going to drink my H2O religiously and I am going to be cautious about eating. 18-22 WW points each day and my flex points (I will try not to use all 35)
I have been a total failure about excersise- that has to change. I was so committed at the start of this thing and I don't know why I got lazy about my plan. I know what to do to get results- now I just have to re-commit. I also failed at weaning DS but that's okay- I love cuddling up with him each night. This is my last baby so if he wants to nurse- fine with me.
I am getting so excited for my Disney trip on 6/16- The kids are going to freak out when we tell them (at the airport) I went to the Disney Store yesterday and they were having a great sale. Tha was fun- got a few knick-knacks for the kids to give them on the plane or as pillow gifts on our trip.
Those extra lbs I gained seem to be coming off- I hope by weigh-in on Friday I am back to my 14 pound total loss. My scale says I am 141 but my SIL's scale says 145. That is a big diff. I am pretty sure that hers is more accurate:(
I am wearing a size 10 jeans comfortably- I am going to pull out my pre-pregnancy summer clothes today and see if I can squeeze into them- this could be either great- or really depressing- I was 139 on the doctor's scale at the beginning of my pregnancy. Wish me luck today-
Thanks for everyone's support- I will try to get to journals today-
TTFN

I just had to post after my journey through the clothes of pre-pregnancy. Most of it fits (some fits perfect- some is snug-) It was so fun seeing all that old stuff- I feel like I have a new wardrobe- including 4 cute swimsuits that fit nicely. Now I don't have to go do the dreaded swimsuit shopping thing this year. Plus I am saving a lot of money that I would otherwise have to buy summer clothes with.

Already did my excersise today.
On my way to meeting water
So far had 4 WW points

(In James Brown voice) I FEEL GOOD!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc A new "Free" Wardrobe.:bounce: :Pinkbounc
Congrats on fitting into your previous wardrobe, and the swimsuits must look awesome! Congrats and keep up the great work.

Two days OP- water, excersise, points. I am doing well. I think I am really back on track. Tomorrow I am going to DD's field trip (Baltimore Zoo) so that will probably be my excersise for the day. I doubt I will have time for the treadie but I will be walking from 9:00-1:30 (minus lunch break). So that should be enough. I will have to pack a lunch for me and DD. Good night all!

Just dropping in to say  ::yes:: How was the zoo?
Beth

Mary, you're doing GREAT!! You've got lots of clothes for summer and FOUR swimsuits and you didn't have to spend any money!! WOO-HOO!!

I hope the zoo was fun!!

Thanks for the kind words amigos-
Weigh-in was good- those 2 pounds are gone. :bounce:
I have been sticking to my plan with excersising each day (M-F) I ate way too many points yesterday (about 40) so I have 15 flex points left for the weekend. I am going to need them because we are going to Cape May for the weekend (DHs parents live there) so I won't be in control of my menus the way I usually am. I am not too worried- even if I can't count all my points... I know that if I don't over-indulge I will be fine. I am getting better at being able to know what I can eat with out turning to my points calculator.
The zoo was fun- we had perfect weather but the cicadas were out in force. EEWW. Some of the kids (boys mostly) were more interested in the cicadas than the caged zoo animals.
Today I have to make 30 iron on shirts for Bridget's class picnic- we are having a Survivor themed party for the kids and each class is a different "tribe". These are the decals I designed for the shirts.

Aren't they cool?
I will check in on Monday when I get back from Cape May-
Have a great weekend everyone-
Mary

Mary,

I responded to your question in my journal. Check it out if you have a minute.

Have a magical day!!!!!!

My plan went ok for the weekend. We went out for Chinese on Friday and I ate small portions but I did eat an egg roll:rolleyes: . Sat. I was OP until dinner when we went out to a ice cream and sandwich shop with the in-laws. I had a chicken wrap- it was yummy but with no access to nutritional info I have no clue how many points- I am guessing it was a bundle of 'em. I passed on the fries and the ice cream. Sunday the I had frosted flaked for breakfast and then my in-laws hosted a cookout- burgers and dogs, potato salad, deviled eggs...the works. I walked to WAWA and got myself a 4" turkey sub (no cheese, no mayo) and a bag of WOW chips. (I hope they don't think I am rude- not eating their food) I did indulge in my MILs awesome 7 layer taco dip and I had some brownies and fudge too. These were too good to regret.
My in-laws are great- I am really lucky. I know so many people with in-law stress but we all get along great. The fact that they live 3 hours away may have something to do with it. They are interesting people with hobbies and volunteer work and full lives even though they are approaching 80. I hope I can be so active and fulfilled at that age.
Today- get on treadmill early
Unpack and knock out the laundry from our trip
Go to work
Get to grocery store
Finish iron-on shirts
Start water immediately
WW frozen for lunch
Buffalo chicken salad for dinner.
Pineapple and cottage cheese for snack.
I hope everyone has a good day!- Mary

Hi Mary,

Those logos are really cool. I'm not very good with that kind of thing. Looks like you had a great weekend. Keep up the great work.
Beth

I will say that distance can make the heart grow fonder ;) We moved 45 minutes away from my in-laws and I feel like we see them more now then we did when we lived only 15 minutes away. It is a good thing that you get a long well with your inlaws.

I'm sure they didn't think you were rude for not eating your food. And next time why not pull your MIL aside and tell her ya know I am dieting - would you mind if I made a big salad and brought some low fat hotdogs. I'll bring enough for everyone. I could never say this to my MIL since she seems to think I want her opinion on my weight all the time:rolleyes: .

Have a great day!

~Amanda

Mary, those logos for the class shirts are so cool!!! I bet the kids loved them!!

You did good over the weekend! Yes you indulged a bit, but you didn't binge - you just enjoyed the really GOOD stuff that you can't get all the time. Way to go!! If I were hosting someone with a special way of eating I certainly would not be offended if they brought their own food - I think you were wise!

Have a great day! :sunny:

Thanks guys-
yesterday was good- was op all day- excersised, water...
Today I have to excersise still- I have a good food plan so points shouldn't be a problem. Am drinking my water now.
I am getting excited about our surprise trip to WDW. We told the kids that we are picking them up early from school to take Daddy to the airport because he is going on a business trip. This is the truth- they just don't know the business trip is at WDW and we all are going! This is going to rule.
Good luck to everyone today- Mary:sunny:

Mary,
Those logos that you made are really cool!::yes:: I hope everyone liked them!

Surprise trips to WDW are so much fun!! Last year, we decided to take a second trip to WDW and not tell our girls. When Emily asked where we were going, I said we were going to visit a friend. (We drove by the way.) When we first got to Orlando, she didn't get it, but by the time we had driven by some of the parks and stuff she got it. In no time at all she was walking around WDW like an old pro and she was only 2.5 years old at that!:teeth:

Is your surprise trip in December? We are going to WDW December 4- December 15th. Some days I am very excited and other days I think,"It's so far away!"

Have a great day Mary! Keep up the good work!

Tracy:wave2:

Hi Tracy- Good Morning Everyone-
No - Our trip in December is not a surprise. DH and I will be celebrating our 10 year anv. We have been planning that trip forever. We are doing the 4 night cruise on the Wonder followed by 3 days at WDW. We will get to WDW the day after you leave Tracy! This little 5 day trip just fell into our laps because of DHs work. He is 100% paid for as is half of our lodging and some meals. We are doing the whole trip for around $750. It is so cheap I couldn't pass it up.
Yesterday was good- excersised, water...
TOM arrived and I had the chocolate cravings but I didn't give in- probably because there is no chocolate here. But I did have a bowl of LIFE cereal with 2% milk that was not in my food plan. I was still pretty good on points- around 26.
GOALS FOR TODAY: AVOID CHOCOLATE, CLEAN MY HOUSE, STICK TO PLAN
Plan- WW frozen for lunch, Grilled Teriaki Chicken and pineapple for dinner w/broccoli., snack cottage cheese

:worship: :worship: :worship:

I am so impressed that you avoided the chocolate. Keep up the great work.
Beth

I was too busy to post yesterday. I subbed for my DD's homeroom teacher for 2 hours in the morning. That was educational. The first 10 minutes I was there I had the high math group. Those kids are sharp. The last hour and a half I had the lowest reading group. Such a contrast. The kids are sweet but trying to keep them on track with the subject is a job. We were talking about weather and rainbows and I would say "Who can tell me what kind of weather we have here in Maryland in the summer?" 15 hands shoot up in the air. I call on a little girl in the front row. "One time my mom bought me a pair of shoes with rainbows on them and they didn't fit and we had to return them and they didn't have my size so I picked Strawberry Shortcake ones and they had my size but they were uncomfortable... yada yada and on and on and on" Every question I asked was like that. At least there was a vague reference to rainbows in her monologue- mostly the kids would just raise there hands and if I call on them go into a bizarre irrelevent stream of conciousness thing.
I was not OP. I didn't excersise and I had Chinese for dinner followed by a banana with PB. Oh well- I will do better today.
Have a good day everyone.
