Oops I did it again! WHY MUST I YOYO!!!

DH just looked over my shoulder and said- hey that's your 1000th post. WOW. I think I spend too much time here:rolleyes:
DH is also addicted to message boards but he likes the local political forums run by the Baltimore Sun. He recently was banned!!! I laughed and said what are you going to do with all your free time. He said- I already got my new screen name!:p
FYI- he didn't use profanity or anything- He got banned for criticising the Baltimore Mayor's Irish rock band. They are ultra sensitive about anything having to do with the mayor because there are rumors about the mayor having marital distress (affairs) and they are trying to keep it from going public.

WEIGH-IN results- holding steady. I blame TOM. (It's so much easier than blaming myself for last night's the Chinese food debacle  ) At least I didn't gain.

Good morning Mary!
Congratulations on your 1000th post!:Pinkbounc I know I spend too much time here too, but it is so much fun!:teeth:

Have a great day!

Tracy:wave2:

Hi Mary,

Congrats on the 1000th post. Also congrats on maintaining your weight. you are doing a great job. My DH is banned from local boards regularly. He's not obscene, he just likes to stir things up a bit.
Have a good weekend.

Oh- I have been so busy- sorry I haven't been posting- I have to find some time to catch up on all of your journals. We are leaving tomprrow for WDW- I am down another pound which brings me to 15 total since I started at the beginning of April! If I am still 15 down when I get back (yea, right) I will reward myslf with the 15 lb clippie.
I have gotten into a routine with my diet where I abandon it on the weekends- I don't binge out or anything- I just am more relaxed about what I eat...WW is great but counting points... is tiresome and sometimes impractical. For the past few weeks I have gotten right back on track each Monday. Not yesterday though- just too busy. I ate too much and did not excersise. We will be back from vacation next Tuesday and I am determined to push through the summer and try to lose another 10 pounds by Labor Day. That would put me at 133. Any weight I lose after that is going to be hard.
I am so excited to reveal to the kids that we are going to Disney World- they are going to be so surprised. We are going to tell them at the airport. They think we are dropping of Daddy at the airport for a business trip. It is going to be great.
Have a great week, my WISH buddies- I will have lots of pictures for you all when I return.
Mary

Mary, have a safe & magical trip!

Can I come? Please? Huh? Huh? Can I? Please?

I don't count points at Disney, I assume the walking manages the weight for me. I also try not to indulge in more than one crazy off program favorite a day; popcorn one day, chocolate covered Mickey the next, etc.

But remember this very important maxim while you are there...there are no calories in Disney.

Isn't that magic?

Mary,

Your kids are going to freak out when they find out they are going to WDW. I hope you will be taping their response. Have a wonderful and safe trip. Can't wait for the pics.

Hi- we're here. It was so much fun telling the kids. They were SO
happy. The weather down here is miserable. Mid 90s and humid. I don't like to be out with the baby in that weather. Yesterday we went to Disney Quest- that was fun and air conditioned. Today we are checking out of the DD Hilton (very nice hotel) and into POFQ. We will swim in the morning and then go to MK at 2:00 (we have post 2pm convention tickets) Hopefully it won't be too hot for baby.
As far as eating/excersise- I am not proud of myself... I met up with Ben & Jerry last night and the 3 of us had a sinfully good time:p hopefully I will walk it off at MK today!
Have a great week- Mary

Hi Mary!
I am so glad that your kids are enjoying their surprise!:Pinkbounc I bet that you will have a fabulous time!!!:jumping1:

Thanks for the laugh you gave me this morning. When I read about your "meeting" with Ben and Jerry, I was :rotfl: ! I think that given the heat and humidity and the amount of walking there is to be done at MK, you will burn off the extra calories + some! No worries~ you are on vacation! Enjoy it!!!

Have a wonderful time Mary! :hyper:

I am back- the scale was kind to me this am considering my vacation indulgences- it was exactly the same as when I left-
I am busy unpacking- will try to catch up on journals and post about my trip in the next day or 2.

Thanks Tracy!
Hi everyone-
I was not ready to come home. We were at the DDHilton for 2 nights, then POFQ for 3. POFQ was awesome. We all loved everything about it, in fact we cancelled 1 day at the parks and opted to hang out at the resort instead- it was one of the best days of our trip. It was so hot and humid down there the pool was the best place to be. Crowds didn't seem too bad.

This is what we did on our trip:
Chef Mickey's dinner- fun
Baskerville's character breakfast- fun
Disney Quest- fun, fun, fun
Magic Kingdom- SOOOO hot, extremely tiring, TOTALLY fun
DH and the 7 & 8 year old went to Typhoon Lagoon- they loved it.
Went to the campfire and movie at Fort Wilderness- got totally confused by the Ft. Wilderness bus situation but inspite of getting of at the wrong stop still made it in time. The kids roasted marshmallows and made friends while watching a movie under the stars- fun and free!
Took the ferry from POFQ to DD- shopped and took pictures.

Best moment of our trip, you ask?- It is a tie-
1. When an egret stole a french fry out of baby DS's hand and the kids laughed their butts off.
2. Got on flying Dumbos (because there was no line) just as Wishes began and me and my 2 DS's watched the show while flying through the air.

No excersise- too exhausted but stayed within points (25) and drank water all day.

Here are pictures- you will see me wearing socks with sandals here so I am pretty embarassed as this is the first time many of you will be seeing me- that is not my 1st choice in footwear but my sneaks were wet and I had a blister so I had to wear socks. My daughter (8) said that socks with sandals is cool now- her exact words were " Everybody wears socks with sandals- it's 'Off The Heezie'" It still reminds me of Mr. Roeper from 3s Company.

Enjoy

Mary, sounds like your trip was truly magical and lots of fun!! So happy to hear the surprise trip was wonderful!!!

Hi Mary,

I'm so glad your family enjoyed the trip. The picture is awesome. You look great, and DD is right. It is currently very cool to wear socks and sandels. I'm still not doing it.
Beth

Hi Mary!
It sounds like you all had a wonderful time on your trip!::yes:: The picture with Mickey is a really good one! Thanks for sharing that with us!::yes::

Thank you for the words of encouragement that you left in my journal. I appreciate you Mary!

Have a great day!

My sister is coming to town today- I am so excited to meet my nephew, Jack! I feel like a heel that I didn't travel up to CT to meet him sooner but I didn't really have the $$ for a hotel as they live in a tourist area (Mystic, CT) and lodging is very expensive and their house is too small to accomodate us. My sister said she understands- she and the kids are spending most of the summer down here in MD because they are having an addition put on their house and they will be at my mom's house so they are out of the way of the builders.
My sister has 5 kids- one boy the same age as my Joey ans a girl the same age as my Thomas. I am looking forward to spending time with them all. I have to be good and OP this week because we are having a crab feast at my mom's this weekend. We may be having fried soft crab sandwiches too- that is my favorite. I am planning on saving my flex points for that.

fast fact: a Mickey bar contains 24 grams of fat.

Hung out with my sister and her family all last night- grazed all evening instead of a meal- steamed shrimp (lots) nuts and choc ice cream. Not good. Oh well. It was fun.
My sister's family is cool.
The baby is tiny and very cute. Her 16 month old is so sweet- she and Thomas enjoyed having a fellow munchkin around- and her 3 year old is hilarious and cool. She is the most fun.
Her 7 year old played with Bridget & Joey all night- they had a great time. And she has a 14 year old daughter who is a lovely girl.
Bye all-
Mary
