We will be going to wdw in October after going through all these threads and reading Yelp reviews I decided to come up with a list of places to possibly eat at while we are there. We will be staying for 7 days me, my DH and my picky DD who is 5.

Kona Cafe - breakfast & dinner
Yak and Yeti - lunch
The Wave - lunch or dinner
50s Prime- dinner
Flame Tree- lunch
Mama Melrose - dinner
Raglan Road - dinner
Liberty Tree - lunch or dinner
Columbia HH- lunch
Tokyo Dining or Tappen Edo?
Crystal Palace - breakfast for DD
San Angel or La Hacienda ?
F&W booths - multiple days for snacks or many snacks to then be meals.

Thoughts good choices, bad choices? Better choices? Help!

Kona Cafe- one or the other. No need to do 2 meals here unless you're staying at the Poly

The Wave - Go for dinner unless you would be using the lunch as your afternoon break from the park.

LTT- both meals are good, but if you have a picky eater lunch might be better because it's a la carte. Dinner has a set menu.

TD or TE - we don't do TE because we have better hibachi places at home. TD is a favorite of ours.

SAI of LH- we find SAI too dark, noisy and crowded. The only thing it has going for it is the scenery. We like LH better.

F&W booths - we use them for occasional snacks. If you want to make a meal of these it would cost way too much, unless you eat like a bird.

Your other choices look good.

I couldn't recommend kona or Ragland enough 2 of my favorite places. I'd go with lunch at kona for sure though if your only costing once.

Read and saw so many things at Kona that I would want to eat for either meal my only reason for wanting to maybe go twice even though we won't be staying at poly.

For F&W I figure snack early in the day then a late dinner at one of the other near by choices.

Here is my take on your excellent choices!

*Kona Cafe - breakfast: We prefer breakfast due to atmosphere later in the day... Can feel like your in traffic, as it opens right to the lobby. Plus breakfast is delicious and a great value!
*Yak and Yeti - lunch: Absolute yes
The Wave - Haven't tried this one
*50s Prime- dinner : Super fun! Good food, too.
Flame Tree- lunch : Not a fan. Just seems like fast food barbecue, but I am in the minority on these boards
Mama Melrose - haven't tried it
* Raglan Road - dinner : fantastic! A really unique experience.
Liberty Tree - had a horrible experience experience since the refurb (really bad service and mostly bad food), but I would return at lunch for toffee cake and pit roast.
Columbia HH- haven't tried
*Tokyo Dining or Tappen Edo? TD is peaceful, delicious, and my kids' favorites ( origami handed to them at check in!) I have not tried Teppan Edo, but am not that into hibachi. We prefer sushi.
Crystal Palace - haven't tried
*San Angel or La Hacienda ? Loved San Angel, have not tried La Hacienda.
F&W booths - multiple days for snacks or many snacks to then be meals. Lucky you! (I haven't been for food and wine.)

Two of my 3 kids are uber picky and have been able to be satisfied at all of the restaurants on your list. Disney accommodates picky palates and diverse palates well in almost every restaurant. I personally would look at your touring plan and pick from these choices based on convenience. All of your choices look great. Now, you can maximize your time! (Because even with 7 days, you will have to return to try half of your list!) I starred (*) what I would pick, but again where you are staying, parks visiting is key. You seem to be light on MK area choices for meals after breakfast, unless you plan to hop to Epcot.

Have a fantastic time!

Thank you for your feedback on my choices with the menus I looked at so far those seem to be the ones that have stuff my picky eater is familiar with along with the food me and DH like. We will be staying in AoA since the little mermaid is a repeat thing to watch here on a weekly basis and I know my 5 year old will be so surprised. Even if we just go to half of those I will be happy I want to also go to MNSSHP as well one night. As far as all my Epcot choices I just think having so many world options makes eating at Disney that much more exciting!

I'd skip some of the sit-down meals and just eat at the booths at Food & Wine, over and over again.....

Okay, no, I like the restaurants too much to actually skip them. But Food & Wine is so much fun - the little tasting plates are a great way to try something new. We were last there during Food & Wine 2014, and had SO much fun eating our way around the world showcase! :)

Of the ones where you have a ?, I'd say:

- Tokyo Dining instead of Teppan Edo, especially if you have hibachi restaurants close to home. If you don't, and that would be a more unique experience for you, then go for Teppan Edo - it's fun to watch the hibachi chefs, and it tends to be popular with little kids.

- San Angel Inn or La Hacienda, we haven't done La Hacienda, but I always hear good things. That said, we've really liked San Angel Inn. Good food and we like the "nighttime" atmosphere. It is, admittedly, tight quarters - but you won't *quite* rub elbows with the next table over... :) We've got it wishlisted for lunch on our next trip.

Very excited for F&W I love food festivals and trying out new things!

We have tons of hibachi places near home so maybe I'll rethink that one but I haven't read online too many great reviews of TD it's a little mixed and don't know if it's worth going too.

Based on menus I think SAI sounds really good

Just discovered Morimoto Asia in DS anyone go there yet? We are big on sushi and Japanese food well DH and I are and while looking up restaurants just came across this one. Would this be better than TD?

You'll find mixed reviews of any Disney restaurant. Such is the nature of people's food and dining preferences and expectations. Morimotos is no exception. Another thing to consider when contemplating dining at Disney Springs- do you have any plans to be in a park that evening? Because travel between a park and DS is a big time suck. Using Disney transportation, you would have to first go to a resort and transfer. Going directly to and from your resort is easy.

We won't have a car with us so just using Disney transportation. I thought Ds might be a good arrival night idea. I haven't figured out a plan for which park on which day yet.

Kona for breakfast is one of my favorites!! The macadamia nut pineapple pancakes are delicious! My mouth water just thinking of them.

Raglan Road - two thumbs up! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 We love it there. The menu is great and the food is always very good.

50's PT - we just had dinner there in Nov and it just isn't the same as it once was years ago. The fun antics were gone (at least the night we went), the service there was the slowest we had all trip! Literally! We would do Sci-fi next time instead.

Yak & Yeti - not sure if you are talking about QS or TS for lunch. Both are good, but we love the TS! Great food!

Columbua Harbor House- Go there! This has been a favorite QS in MK for me since I was a kid. We love it there for something other than burgers.

Crystal Palace- we prefer breakfast there. Love the buffet!

Can't wait for those!!

I had no idea it was a QS thought it was only a TS place. What's the difference between the two ? Is the menu different for both during lunch ?
