I've been researching this a ton and was going to chime in with our plan...but what you're trying to do sounds impossible. You can't rope drop both FEA and FoP, as others have pointed out. I would say ropedrop FoP, go straight to River Journey then Everest, and then have FPs for FEA. But I can't imagine making it from the cruise ship in time for rope drop anyways, which would mess up the whole plan.

And somehow I missed what you said about the evening at MK. Honestly, I cannot even begin to imagine how you can possibly do AK's three biggest rides, FEA, three MK rides, and be right up front for fireworks the same day you're returning from a cruise. I think you guys are best off adjusting your expectations or you're bound to be disappointed.

FoP is totally unavailable for FP for our whole week. But it says "standby" might be available...does that mean standing in line forever? And if so, why "might be" available?

Yes, standby means waiting in line. You can check MDE for current wait times to give you an idea. They say "may" because the line may close for technical difficulties, or if it gets too long or too close to closing time they can close standby.

We don't park hop. What we usually try to do is do as many of the high-demand attractions in the morning/early afternoon, take an afternoon break and come back in the evening and take a more laid-back approach: attractions with little to no wait, shows, parades, fireworks, shopping, etc. To do this, we usually schedule our 3 FPs in late morning/early afternoon when crowds are building and waits are longer. If we hopped, I think we'd probably save the FPs for the evening.

We usually take this approach for MK: Get fast passes for our must-do rides for sometime in the late morning/early afternoon. Then we get to MK as close to rope-drop as possible. Then we head back to Adventure Land and Frontier Land and ride those rides first before the lines get long. We're usually able to get in Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Splash Mt (if it's open) and Big Thunder (usually 1-3 times) before the lines start getting too long. A note for MK if you haven't been there in a while: the Peter Pan ride gets really long really fast, so if that is one of the rides you really want to do, I would get a FP for it.

For AK we try to get a FP for the Safari Ride as early in the morning as possible. We've always had better luck with seeing more animals earlier in the day. Oh, and now there is FOP, so if you want to do that ride, you MUST get a FP, or risk waiting a very long line. It's an awesome ride!!!

For EP - If you MUST do the Frozen ride, get a FP for that as early in the day as possible. Head to Soarin` first thing in the morning. With the additional theater, the line doesn't get nuts quite as early in the morning as it used to. We then do Test Track in the single rider line.

For HS - if you want to do the Toy Story ride, get a FP for that for as early in the day as possible. We also like to get a FP for Star Tours, though we have found that the line for that one gets shorter the later in the evening it gets. So, if you are going to be in the park all day, you might want to wait until later in the evening to do this one. The last trip we were there we rode it 3 times back to back at around 8pm. We could've done more, but my body said "nope, that's enough for tonight, unless you want to be checking out the inside of one of those fancy garbage cans".

Have a great trip!

FYI Everest usually has a single rider line if you are able to use it. It sometimes does not open right away at rope drop but at that time stand by line is usually not bad.

It's hard for me to make a choice out of the three. Firstly, we are usually there in early December so the crowds aren't too insane. We also don't always worry about getting on rides - sometimes we just chill in the parks either just the two of us or with friends, people watch, watch shows or street performances, or other non-ride attractions like shopping (or at least wandering through shops) or head out to Disney Springs. We don't do RD by any stretch of the imagination - breakfast is usually no earlier than 8:30 am and we have a leisurely dining experience. We usually have ADRs for dinner about 7-9 pm after which we may, or may not, return to a park. So our FPs are typically selected between 10:30-5:30 with time in between so as not to be running from place to place to make the FP. Also, we may park hop morning/afternoon/evening; that's reasonably well compensated for in the planning stages. So we might do a park in the morning to late afternoon then park hop over to another park closer to the ADR, so FPs are planned around that. And two consecutive days may look very different.
